I had emailed with John Bassett about the car a few days prior and we got many of the basic questions about the car out of the way. When I came down for the test drive, John was quick to come greet us and explained the car to us in detail. He is very knowledgeable about the cars he sells, which is a big plus and did not pressure us in any way! Even during the negotiations I never felt like I was being taken advantage of and I believe we arrived at a fair price pretty quickly. It’s been a week after the purchase and John has been very attentive to any questions I have had about the car and replied promptly. Would I buy another car from this dealership – absolutely! At The Quail in 2012 I took a test drive in a Panamera. Shortly thereafter I got a follow up email from John Bassett asking if I had any questions with which he could help me. There was no pressure, no "are you ready to buy today," etc. He was just low key, and pleasant. I concluded our encounter by telling him I would probably be interested when the 2014 models came out. After that, I did not hear from John, no pestering, or anything like that. He was simply very professional, probably the most professional salesperson I have dealt with, and I have dealt with many. At the 2013 Quail, I took another Panamera test drive, and sent an email to John that I was ready to purchase one. I made an appointment, and he made himself available at my convenience. We got reacquainted, and I was specific in what I wanted on the Panamera, and he place the order with a fair price for me. With honesty, he said it would take three and a half months for the car to arrive, which it did. When I picked up the car, he spent more time with me than I expected getting acquainted with the car, again demonstrating his knowledge of the car and interest in making sure I was comfortable and happy with it. All in all a very pleasant sales experience with a very professional and thoughtful person. Would I deal with John on another purchase, yes, and I intend to do so in the future. More
