My attempt to purchase a vehicle from Pohanka yesterday was awful and the biggest waste of time. I did a ton of research and walked in knowing exactly what I wanted a 2017 that was online for 16,000 and I was awful and the biggest waste of time. I did a ton of research and walked in knowing exactly what I wanted a 2017 that was online for 16,000 and I test drove a new vehicle that was advertised for 23,000. When I was done we walked back in and I asked my salesman to give me a quote on both of the vehicles that I drove with my trade-in calculated in. When he came back to sit down he brought me a quote for a vehicle that I did not test drive nor was I interested in not to mention it was more expensive used than the brand new car that I test drove. I told my salesman that I would like the estimate of the two vehicles I test drove and the used car I would like to see if I could get some of the price knocked off because the rooms were scratched up and there was paint chips on the back bumper. So he walked back up to the sales manager and while I was waiting another salesman I noticed grabbed keys off of the desk. The salesman came back to me and told me that the car I was interested in that was a new would not have any deal on it and the vehicle that I could afford was actually missed marked online and was 18,000 and it’s sold. I walked in to the dealership first, test drove the vehicle, and was waiting for the estimate all while they say another salesman sold the car and there was nothing that they could do about it but try and up sell me on a new vehicle. Following this encounter I went to another dealership and while I was waiting I noticed that the car I test drove that was 16,000 was now posted online for 18,000. I had a friend call acting interested in the vehicle and they allowed her to set up a time to test drive it. In sum, they did a bait and switch by having me walk through the door test drive the vehicle I researched and knew I wanted and could afford and try to upsell me all while telling me that the car I could afford sold. They wasted five hours playing games with me in an attempt to try and get more money out of me. I would not recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. More
My salesman Tony overton sucked!! He was so pushy. Took my cell from me three times when I was looking up other cars. Followed me out to my car yelling what it going to take for me to buy this car. Took off his face mask when riding in the car with me. Called me 6 times after I left trying to get me to come back. Left a text about a 2017 when I thought we was talking about a 2018. My visit to pohanka was from xxxx!!!!!!! More

He told me to pick out three cars that I wanted..My credit was ran, he said I could get anything I wanted on the lot if i put down a large down payment of 5,000 after I sat in there for four hours for him to tell me that which I know it was BS. He said I had to come back the next day because the banks were closed.. I called him the next day he didn’t even know who I was and what car I was going to purchase smh...So today I went back in there to start the process all over again still bs.. He said he had some cars for me to look at and they wasn’t even there then pulled up one car that had a flat tire very stressful day!!! More
