I took my car in to have an odd noise diagnosed. For $250 they told me I needed a $3,300 repair of a motor mount gone bad after only 50K miles on the car. When I said I would just take the car back For $250 they told me I needed a $3,300 repair of a motor mount gone bad after only 50K miles on the car. When I said I would just take the car back without the repair, the service repairman tried to bargain with me, offering to do the job for $1,000 less! Why didn’t he quote me the lower price in the first place?! Very insulting and dishonest. Never going back to Platinum Chevrolet of Santa Rosa. More
