Bolt EV problem We purchased aBolt because of the range. It was only charging to 160 miles so I made an appointment with service. I arrived on time. I was told Jeff is the EV expert. Jeff came out. I told him I needed to explain what was happening with charging. The first thing he said was"Look, I don't have much time." To which I responded "But I have an appointment " He said"Oh". This shows familiar to communicate. I continued to try to explain things to Jeff, but he just walked away with no explanation. He never came back. If one of my employees in my small business did that they would be written up. After waiting a long time Jim spoke to me. There was never any explanation about Jeff. Given that Jeff is the EV expert, I would recommend against buying an EV car from Platinum. I don't want to have mine serviced there because I don't ever want to see Jeff again. This is a shame because Scott the salesman was excellent. More
30K service on my truck I took in my 2015 GMC Canyon in for a 30K service and the service coordinator did an excellent job in helping me out. I asked that they also change out the air cabin filter and that was added to the work order. By noon I received a call from Brandon that my truck was done and ready for pick up. Courteous and knowledgeable staff made my experience great and I will be back for future services on my truck. More

I am busy and my past car buying.experiences have been frustrating and time consuming. Hans at Platinum Chevrolet reached out to me via email and we exchanged a number of messages to narrow down what I was looking for in my new Bolt. We then had a couple phone calls where I told him I don’t want any games, bait and switch, attempts to up sell me, etc... He said that wouldn’t happen and he was true to his word. I also told him I didn’t want to spend 3 hours at the dealership when I came in to buy the car. He sent me all the paperwork in advance and had his credit people work on everything in advance. I spent probably an hour at the dealership before driving out in my new Bold! I would strongly recommend Platinum Chevy and particularly Hans BIgall. He’s honest, straight forward and really helpful. He stayed in touch with us in the next few weeks and was available when we had time for further exploration. The finance person we signed the contract with, Tim, helped us think through what could go wrong in the future and the value of getting a longer warranty. The only frustration was that we had to wait over 2 months for the car to arrive and the dealership had no way of tracking when it would arrive: a bad system. One can track packages, why not cars?
