I called the day before and was given a next day appt. That fact that I was seen to so quickly was excellent. I did have to wait 4 hours for the car to be assessed. Expert service I had my Volt towed in expecting that there was major engine failure. The previous dealership told me to expect a bill of several thousand dollars. Platinum found that it was only a loose wire and bad 12V battery, so I got on the road quickly at a fraction of that. More
22,500 mile checkup Brought my Bolt in for the 22,500 mile checkup, was greeted promptly and told the servicing would take 2 hours. Exactly two hours later to the minute Brought my Bolt in for the 22,500 mile checkup, was greeted promptly and told the servicing would take 2 hours. Good service technically. Bad service communicating with us We brought our Chevy Bolt in for service on April 16 because the driver window was not opening or closing properly. Platinum told us that the window We brought our Chevy Bolt in for service on April 16 because the driver window was not opening or closing properly. Platinum told us that the window mechanism needed to be replaced. They ordered the part from Michigan and it arrived the next day. Great! We brought the car in again on April 23. We heard nothing from them all day. The next morning they told us that the replacement part was bad. However, they had fabricated a new cable and were in the process of installing it. Again, great service! But it is really inexcusable that they had not communicated with us at all on April 23. We were left hanging, unsure what was happening with our car. I doubt if we will come back to Platinum Chevrolet in the future. More
