Available when promised but expensive I went in for an oil change and tire rotation...and was quoted over $1,000 for the "45,000 mile service package". They replaced the oil and radiator f I went in for an oil change and tire rotation...and was quoted over $1,000 for the "45,000 mile service package". They replaced the oil and radiator fluid, the cabin and engine air filters, flushed the brake fluid but otherwise there was a laundry list of "inspect & Check"...very little else actually done to the car for over $700 in labor and $300 in parts. Really? Seems like a lot for not much done. They did give me a ride to/from which was convenient. But when I make an appointment, I really don't expect the "can we keep it for the day?" Of course they were doing more to it than the oil change and tire rotation. Lastly, the Volt is confusing for MX. Because most of my driving is electric, it says "oil life" was still over 50% with 17,000 miles on the car. I bought the car and was told (first two service visits are free. Took it in at 25k and was told, "Oh, those free visits have to happen in the first 24k" Nobody said that when I bought it. More
WAY TOO LONG Typical of dealer service departments....they promise to have your car "out" in (name your time) and suggest you wait. OK, sounds good...you have at least that much time (mine was an hour) so they direct you to the lounge to wait. The wide screen TV cannot be accessed because some brat kid ran off with the remote. You ask a passing employee how to turn on the TV so he does by a button behind the screen. GREAT, I'll watch TV, the time will pass more quickly that way. Wait, oh no, you can't change the channels because the remote is gone. You've overheard the parts employee tell someone he saw the kid take it. Why in h..l didn't he stop the kid? Oh yeah, good customer service. Watched a replay of the Warriors vs Trojans final game...a replay!! And ye gads, the oil change took over an hour and a half and I had a disabled daughter waiting for me at home! Really deserves three stars. More

Unresolved Question Basic car service was fine. This is the second time I have had the car in and no one in service knows how to program the Energy settings. They say I n Basic car service was fine. This is the second time I have had the car in and no one in service knows how to program the Energy settings. They say I need someone from sales - but can never get anyone who is available. Seems odd that service department does not know how to work the program. Last time I asked for help with the Heat settings and got the same response. More

They worked carefully with me to get everything flushed and inspected and it’s now safety checked and ready for its next 100,000 or more. She runs like a top! He answered all of my questions and even suggested we apply online prior to driving up as to not waste gas and money to go up there! Totally appreciate that!! From the moment we got out of our car everyone was so kind and knew who we were, which was so awesome! Meeting up with Jeremy, the experience was professional, fast and quite comfortable! It was as if we were just around a bunch of friends! I absolutely loved that. Everything took about an hour and we were out the door. I have NEVER had a better experience. I would recommend Platinum Chevrolet to anyone! Thank you!! More
