Worst dealership I've ever dealt with I went there to buy a car and left a deposit because I wanted my girlfriend to see it first. They made her wait for 45 minutes and never let her get in the car. They just drove it up to show her the remote start and the trunk. That was a year ago. I purchased a mustang from another dealer and had to go in and sign to get my money back. Last week I went in for an oil change and again, very unfriendly service all around. Now today I called to see if they carried touch up paint that I need and the guy in the phone was rude when I first called and said I need the VIN number. Ok, no big deal. But when I called back a few hours later he was excessively rude again, said he never spoke to me and, in his words, "never told me a thing". Ok, no need to be a jerk. He then said he would have to order it and have it prepaid for. He then told me other dealers that carry it close to the area but at no point asked if I wanted to come in and pay for it so it could be ordered. For such a newly renovated dealer I would think they would want to attract business, not drive it away. It's the closest one to my home but I guess they don't want customers. Having read the Car and Driver reports for years on the Mustang I decided to purchase the car. The Mustang I was looking for was not in inventory at Plantation Ford nor for that matter at the other dealers. With Jim's help I decided on a Mustang GT coupe premium with all options. I found Jim to be honest, positive, professionally very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to due business with. Over the following weeks Jim always provided me with manufacturing status by email or phone. Jim was always very supportive to my requests to be introduced to several Plantation Ford team members. I have never had a more positive relationship purchasing autos in inventory or special order. More
Still waiting women beware My vehicle has been at Plantation Ford for over 45 days, progressive insurance was out there 3 days after my accident. I was told the repair would tak My vehicle has been at Plantation Ford for over 45 days, progressive insurance was out there 3 days after my accident. I was told the repair would take 2 weeks. I called after the 2 weeks expired and I have been told next week every week since the 2 weeks have expired. My rental coverage only covers me for 30 days. Called again on the 28th and guess what I was told? " next week " so not only have they been lying to me about the completion date I am out for all the additional days for my rental. Because of the poor service I am out between $500 to $600 in the additional rental fees!!! They have taken advantage of me because I am a female. They think it's a joke. It was minor body work. I have had to cancel summer vacation plans with my kids because they can't get the vehicle done. My husband bought 3 F250's from them and you would think that would help!!! NO!!! They didn't even offer to pay for the additional days for the rental. I am very disappointed in them and mostly myself for not listening to everyone for telling not to take it there. I figured it's a Ford and Ford would be the best one to fix it. I should have taken my Ford Edge to sawgrass Fors where everyone said I should have taken it. Hopefully the review will save someone else all the aggravation and additional money and take their vehicle to Sawgrass Ford. More

Happy with the dealership, but a little annoyed with Ford. My brand new 2016 Ford Transit cargo van, purchased at Plantation Ford, on 12/31/15, broke down, due to a faulty throttle body, after only 4,000 miles My brand new 2016 Ford Transit cargo van, purchased at Plantation Ford, on 12/31/15, broke down, due to a faulty throttle body, after only 4,000 miles on the odometer. The dealership did what they could to help me, but the replacement part was backordered at Ford. I was provided with a temporary vehicle, while my van was on the lot, awaiting parts. I am thankful for that. However, Ford could not loan me a vehicle of equal size and capability (another full-size cargo van). I bought the van, because I need that size vehicle for my business. I had to rent a van myself, from U-Haul, for several days, at my own expense. I think Ford should figure out a way to provide a vehicle of equal size and capability, to a person in my situation, when my brand new van broke down, due to faulty original parts. I appreciate that the dealership did everything they could to help me, while they waited several weeks, for the replacement parts to come in from Ford. More
