I'll be honest, I wasn't looking forward to having to take our Toyota 4 Runner to the dealership. This was my first visit to the dealership and I expected my visit to be unpleasant and long. having to take our Toyota 4 Runner to the dealership. I was sure that as a female client I would be hit with all kinds of sales pitches to make me want to spend more money than really necessary. To my surprise, I was greeted immediately by a very friendly, clean and respectful staff in the service area. Derek checked my car out and escorted me to the very clean and comfortable waiting area (even the restroom was clean!). There were several other people waiting in this area, so I decided I would be there for a long while. Well, I was wrong again. After only 30-40 minutes Derek returned with the estimates for the services I had requested, the list of estimates didn't include anything other than my request, no additional sales pitches at all! Derek escorted me to his desk where he reviewed the list of estimates with me and allowed me to ask him several questions. Due to one of my questions, regarding the broken locking system on the back end of our vehicle, Derek politely escorted me to the garage area, which was amazingly clean and quiet, to have a technician explain and show me how the lock system could be fixed. I ultimately decided, due to the cost, that we would not replace the locking system right now. My only complaint would be that I was charged $98 for the technician to spend 15 minutes on the locking system, without fixing it. I could understand the full fee being charged for labor if I had decided to fix the problem. Seems like there should be a pro-rated charge for a quarter of an hour. Upon checking out, the young lady at the register took good care of me. After paying for the services, I walked out to the service garage and was immediately greeted by a very nice young man who politely asked for my receipt to verify I was the owner of the vehicle and then he handed me my keys with a smile and a sweet "have a great day". Every person I spoke with at the dealership went above and beyond to be friendly and professional. I also noticed how very well kept each employee was in their appearance. It was obvious to me from my short visit to your facility that management is doing something right to motivate the entire staff to be exceptional in all they do. Thank you for a great experience! I will definitely recommend the Legacy Toyota Service Center to my friends and family! More
I had an engine light to come on while I was in Tallahassee and my truck engine went into the safe mode. I drove to Legacy to have them check it out. The service manager was still there and he determined what the problem was and said they would have to wait until Monday morning. Being 5:20 on Saturday, and being from Orange Park, FL, I had no choice but to leave my truck there. Brad Jewell filled out the paperwork for a rental car, all the while his wife was standing by to pick him up. My hat is off to you, thanks a million for caring. It is one thing to advertise that Toyota dealers care for there Customers and Legacy Toyota proved the point. Thanks again Bob Wildermuth More
Well the price for the part I need repaired is very high, but since it's a genuine Toyota part it WILL be expensive. I expected a call back from the salesman but I never got one. Duane Lawhon has been with the Toyota dealership for many years, and in my opinion he is the BEST technician they have here in Tallahassee, Fl. Moses Brown was very courteous and helpful. He greeted me very well by asking what are we having done today on your vehicle. I told him exactly what I needed. Once, my car was inspected he suggested some things I needed to have service and/or repaired. Moses overall customer service is always excellent when I bring my car in. More
This is our second vehicle purchased from Legacy Toyota, we purchased an Avalon for our first vehicle and decided that we needed a truck because of the road we live on, we went back into Legacy and met Juli we purchased an Avalon for our first vehicle and decided that we needed a truck because of the road we live on, we went back into Legacy and met Julian Weaver and he was a jewel to work with, my husband knew Allen Blackburn and chose him as our Service Advisor and he has been wonderful to work with. I want to say thanks for the wonderful and friendly service that we receive on each visit and we love that you all took the time to give us the wonderful MVP Lounge to relax in and the amenities to go with it.
