I've been taking my Corolla to Legacy Toyota since 2001 (had a 2002 Corolla then). I have always dealt with Alan Blackburn. He is always friendly, helpful, courteous. I take my Corolla for service every 6 months (and have done that since my first Corolla). When I went for service in December 2012, I found out Mr. Blackburn was no longer there. I was NOT happy about that!! Very disappointed. My service in Dec. 2012 and June 2013 were taken care of by two other gentlemen. They were friendly enough to deal with, but they were not Mr. Blackburn. I received an email in November 2013 saying Mr. Blackburn was back. I'm so glad. I took my care in for service on Dec. 18 and he took care of everything. Thank goodness he is back at Legacy Toyota!! More

Recently, I purchased a new 2013 Toyota Camry XLE from Legacy Toyota. DeMarcus Akins was my sales person. The experience was excellent and DeMarcus is absolutely the best car sales person that I have de Legacy Toyota. DeMarcus Akins was my sales person. The experience was excellent and DeMarcus is absolutely the best car sales person that I have dealt with in my entire life and I am 62 years of age. The best thing about my dealing with DeMarcus and Legacy Toyota, they both treat me like a prime customer and an individual. The worse thing that a sales person can do is to try to overly sell a car to me. I have a Ph.D. in Economics; so I am very knowledgeable about cars and the value proposition of purchasing a car. Given that I have purchased four new cars from Legacy, they know how to treat me with respect and dignity; and I reciprocate by dealing with them in good faith and we mutually respect each other. The experience at Legacy Toyota was outstanding in every way and I highly recommend anyone seeking to buy the best vehicle (Toyota products) and to have a world class customer experience; then Legacy Toyota is the place to go and please seek out the best car sales person in the world, DeMarcus Akins. Finally, the entire buying process was excellent (making the deal; the purchasing process; the financing of the car; preparing the car for pick-up; setting up the car for usage (blue-tooth set-up; garage door opener; service agreement; sirus set-up; car registration, and safety connect). For all of these reasons and great service, I am 1,000 percent satisfied and would highly recommend Legacy Toyota car dealership. More
I went into Legacy expecting to walk out without a new car. I tried two dealerships before them and I didn't have any luck. He kept my payments where they needed to be and got me out out the door quickly. Kelly also worked her magic to make sure I got all the extras I needed (warrently, GAP, etc.) without having to spend more money. My husband and I have both bought cars from Legacy and we have been very pleased with their customer service! They will be the first dealership I visit when it is time to purchase another car! More

I first met Mr. Sumner when I arrived at Legacy Toyota as a walk-in customer. Because I was a walk-in, Mr. Sumner had no time to prepare for my visit. Even without the opportunity to obtain information about my budget, needs, priorities, etc., Mr. Sumner was immediately and very knowledgably able to address these issues. I had already decided that I was interested in a base model Corolla, which I know is one of the least expensive and least profitable cars sold by your dealership, but Mr. Sumner treated me with the same respect and consideration as a customer looking for a fully loaded, top of the line vehicle. When he showed me the vehicle I was interested in and took me for a test drive, it was obvious that he knew about all aspects of the vehicle’s features, such as the air bags, engine layout, convenience features, etc. I made Mr. Sumner aware that I was also in contact with salesmen from two other Toyota dealers and was in the process of discussing what price they could offer. The process involved contacting Mr. Sumner on numerous occasions to give him updates, ask him questions about such items as Legacy’s 7 year/250,000 mile warranty, etc. He was always extremely accessible, receptive to my inquiries, knowledgeable, and helpful. He kept me well informed about what vehicles of interest were in inventory but at no time did I feel pressured to purchase immediately, purchase a more expensive vehicle, etc. Had I felt pressured, I would have not only purchased a vehicle elsewhere but would have provided negative feedback to my friends and online. When I ultimately purchased the vehicle, he was very helpful in presenting and explaining the items necessary for that process and the “take home” items, such as the owner’s manual, warranty, maintenance log, etc. In addition, the tour of the parts area, service department, and waiting area was very informative. I felt that I was being dealt with very honestly and Mr. Sumner’s integrity and engaging personality made the shopping process an unexpected pleasure. Mr. Sumner’s excellent service and kind and engaging demeanor continued after I purchased the vehicle. I did not have anyone with me and told him that it would be no problem for me to return later that week to pick up the car. Instead, he went out of his way and changed his personal plans so he could deliver the car to my residence. After having an opportunity to see my car in daylight, I noticed a few spots and scratches in the interior. Mr. Sumner was very apologetic and immediately assisted me in the process of correcting those issues by returning the vehicle for additional detailing service. Several days after that, I discovered an apparent sample defect in the form of a storage bin door latch that had broken. Again, rather than being inpatient or annoyed, Mr. Sumner was extremely kind and went the extra mile to ensure that the problem was solved. Again, I felt that I was treated with the same respect and consideration as a customer who had purchased a much more expensive vehicle. I have several coworkers who plan to purchase new vehicles in the near future. In several cases, they have already decided that they will be purchasing Toyotas. I will be providing all of these coworkers with Mr. Sumner’s business card and a strong recommendation that they contact him to assist them with their purchase. I wish to also thank you, who I met at my initial visit at the time of my purchase, and Mr. James Wimbley, who handled my (cash) purchase, and the owners of Legacy Toyota. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase immediately, purchase a more expensive vehicle or options, finance my purchase, trade in my current vehicle, etc. When it came time to pay for the vehicle, I was on my guard for the extra charges that often appear at that point. To my relief and delight, the final “out the door” price was exactly what was agreed upon on the sales floor and my experience with the parts and service department have gone very smoothly as well. While I tend to keep vehicles for a long time, I look forward to purchasing my next vehicle from Mr. Sumner and have and will continue to enthusiastically recommend him to my coworkers and friends.
