Had to call multiple times and never got got a follow up when told they would update me. 6 days later, told they couldn't sell the car due to a recall. Promised the paperwork would be shredded. 2-3 weeks later I received bills from the bank AND the DMV registration. Multiple phone calls with minimal follow up from the dealership to finally resolve it. They were quick to help for the sale, but of almost no use when it fell thru due to the recall. Won't go back and can't in good conscience recommend them. More
vehicle brought in because shifter would not go into non overdrive by pressing button, besides having no overdrive vehicle drove great, no problems with other shifting, reverse, forward, 2nd, low, and no pr overdrive by pressing button, besides having no overdrive vehicle drove great, no problems with other shifting, reverse, forward, 2nd, low, and no problems going into 4 wheel drive. had vehicle for over one week and was told that a part in tranny was needed with a cost of over 1500.00, i wanted to get a second opinion and because of the mighty dollar and a so-called savings of over twnety percent and also being told that they guaranteed that was the problem, i decided to stay with them, took some time to get in back to us, and when we got it back parked in garage and left it, tried to start it the next morning and it would not start, called dealership and they had vehicle towed back, after dealership got vehicle recd phone call from them and was told mechanic forgot to re-attach a part and now it runs good, picked up vehicle and drove home with no problem, the next day took several times to start and then finally got started, drover around for about a half an hour and then it started surging and the overdrive light came on again, brought back to dealership, and after several days was told problem solved, picked it up and again the next day surging and now check engine light on, brought back and now told that they found exposed wires it the shifter column that was causing the problems, I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL PROBLEM AND NO PROBLEM WITH THE TRANNY, so they repaired and got vehicle back, within one week again no overdrive, but no way was i going to bring it back to perry rip off ford. brought vehicle to sm ford and dealt with tom and when he got back to me he stated that there was other areas in the shifter that showed exposed wires, so they did the common sense thing and replaced the shifter. Russ was very laid back and there was absolutely no pressure. Finally, an actual 'salesperson' who knows OTHER car manufacturers too, in that when we were talking about competitive vehicles, he knows s pressure. Finally, an actual 'salesperson' who knows OTHER car manufacturers too, in that when we were talking about competitive vehicles, he knows specs, driving experiences, features, etc. I have not chosen a new CUV yet, considering Mazda, Honda, Kia, Ford, etc. Spending time at multiple dealerships, Russ, by far, was the absolute most easy-going person I have ever dealt with at any dealership. One difference is that he is a special finance manager and also tries to get out of the office cube to sell from time-to-time. I cannot understand why games are still played in 2012 and dealers still cannot get over the fact that many buyers are much more informed and just want to get the experience over with. I have not yet gone through the entire purchasing process at this dealer, unless I were to choose the 2013 Escape over other manufacturers' vehicles, so I cannot speak for the entire process. Up to this point, though, it has been awesome, so I can only assume that the rest of the experience will be smooth. For me, it takes but a few seconds to tell if I am going to like the experience. The time spent at a dealer will completely affect the overall sales purchase, so I better have a good 'first impression' upon setting foot. One thing I despise is when someone is hounding me BEFORE I even get out of my car. Oh, and do not touch my car when I have driven up and just trying to get out of it. That, right there, tells me a lot. Some respond to the high-pressure games, but I am one who does not respond to this. If anyone were to head to this dealership, ask for Russ Ramos. His personality will match what most buyers are looking for with a no-pressure, easy-going approach. More
Decided like most buyers in this day and age to do my research online, check out their inventory, shop around a bit and ultimately got the best deal from Perry Ford. I had some email exchange with the i research online, check out their inventory, shop around a bit and ultimately got the best deal from Perry Ford. I had some email exchange with the internet department and was able to gather as much information as I could before getting a great deal on a new Ford Edge. Definitely give them a shot before you buy anywhere else, very friendly staff and a extremely pleasurable experience. More
This dealership has a vast inventory for the area, and it's easy to access. What made a difference to me was the fact that I did not feel pushed or intimidated to buy anything. The sales person took the it's easy to access. What made a difference to me was the fact that I did not feel pushed or intimidated to buy anything. The sales person took the time to listen to what I needed and helped me define what would work best for me, within my budget. I am happy with my purchase and will return when the time comes to trade again for something newer. More
