Perkins Used Car Sales

The main reason I liked my experience at Perkins is that I didn't get the normal car sales procedures. Salesman.... manager.....salesman.....let me check.....manager ect. The head sales guy came in later and took the info down, easy, skipped the BS. Only negative and it is a small one, the car could have been washed when I picked it up. I went into the dealership already knowing that my credit wasnt great. I managed to leave with a vehicle I loved and a monthly payment I can afford. I definitely recommend this dealership. He made me feel like he was going above and beyond to get me what I wanted. He also made me feel like there was plenty to choose from and that he was going to help me until I was satisfied. I even got a courtesy call the day after, to make sure that everything was going well with the vehicle. I have bought a few cars and never recieved the service I got from Perkins. They are worth the time and money! More

i liked most of the dealer 'team', but absolutely DID NOT appreciate the fact that nearly all the gas was removed from the vehicle upon my return to pick it up and write the check. I had already paid the $500 deposit and had explained I would be back the next day to complete the transaction. When I test drove the car prior to putting down the deposit,it had nearly a full tank, while driving it home (about 10 miles), the fuel light came on and I had to fill it up before ever reaching my door step. We have been customers 4 times in the last 16 years and each time was such a pleasant experience; we keep coming back. Our comfort and satisfaction appeared to be of primary concern thru the entire transaction. As a result when our son-in-law was looking for a truck we sent him to Perkins! They are our family car dealership! It is so nice to leave without the feeling that we have been "taken", and with the feeling that we have been served! Thank you so much guys! More

The customer service was terrible. My husband and I went to Perkins with the intention to buy a vehicle. The salesman did not come down on price at all, the interest rate he got us was too high, and he only to Perkins with the intention to buy a vehicle. The salesman did not come down on price at all, the interest rate he got us was too high, and he only showed us two vehicles. We ended up going next door to Mike Shaws. The atmosphere was much better, and we got a car we wanted. The saleman even called the bank and got the our interest rate lowered. It was a night and day difference between the two dealerships. My experience at Perkins was HORRIBLE. They shoved a sale down your throat with little concern about what was best for you. I was really impressed by Mike Shaws, seriously the bank lowered our interest rate because the saleman took the time to call. More
