After running into the usual shady or pushy salesmen I came across Derek Nagel at Performance Nissan. Unlike the other guys he didn't try to push me into some deal on a particular car on the lot that wasn't what I was looking for. He didn't pressure me into making a deal that day before some imaginary sale ended. Instead he did something none of the other salesmen I spoke with could do. He knew everything about his product inside out and was able to answer all of my questions. He was patient with all my questions and endless calls, texts and visits over the course of a month. He returned my calls and texts promptly and was always friendly and professional. He made sure to get me into the car that was best for me, not his bottom line. He also offered me a better price than any other dealer in town. I don't buy cars very often, so late in the process when I was checking on financing I realized my bank, USAA, offers a car buying service where they guarantee you the best price on a new car. When it searched a thirty mile radius of my home zip code and gave me the three best dealer prices, guess what dealership had the lowest price...Performance Nissan. Not only that, the price I had already negotiated was the same exact price as the bank one, which means they weren't up selling me or playing the games the other dealers were, whose prices were above the rate of the bank negotiated price for their dealership. I can't recommend Derek enough for anyone considering a new car purchase. More
