When I called for service the technician scheduled me I’m Memorial Day when the dealership is closed. When I towed my vehicle in for repair it took two weeks to tell me what was wrong and $16880 to repair. I Memorial Day when the dealership is closed. When I towed my vehicle in for repair it took two weeks to tell me what was wrong and $16880 to repair. It was a lifter in the #4 cylinder. My 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 had 48K miles. I bought it from Penske certified pre owned on 12/31/18 with a 6 year 100,000 mile warranty. I researched the issue and it is a defective design issue with this GM 5.3L engine. Penske refused to assist with the repairs and charged me $275 for the diagnostics that took two weeks to obtain. I will never purchase another vehicle from Penske or a GMC vehicle. Worst experience ever. I took it to another shop and had I repaired for $5000 with a 1year 12000 mile warranty. A calve job, heads and all lifters weee replaced, More

My recent experience with General Manager Harout Boyadjian, Sales Manager Walter Martinez, and Vehicle Exchange Sales Rep Bob Uchida was profoundly disappointing. Incident Details: Due to my poor credit, my partner, who has an excellent credit score of around 800, agreed to co-sign for a Cadillac Lyriq. Our neighbor had recently secured an incredible deal from this dealership, so we decided to proceed. I initially interacted with Bob Uchida, who was very helpful. However, things took a turn for the worse when I received a text message informing me that my application had been denied. This was unexpected as we had clearly communicated that my partner would be co-signing. When I called the dealership repeatedly, I was finally told that both my credit and my partner's had been denied. This was obviously untrue since her credit was never even checked, as confirmed by her own inquiries and GM Financial. After numerous attempts to get clarity, Walter Martinez claimed to have a letter from GM Financial denying the application due to my partner already leasing a vehicle. Despite my requests, he refused to provide a copy of this letter. When I contacted GM Financial directly, they confirmed that no such application or denial letter existed. Eventually, I managed to get a call back from Harout Boyadjian, only to hear the same fabricated story. Both he and Walter Martinez refused to provide any documentation or read the supposed letter to me. This led me to believe they never intended to honor the deal we were initially offered. Based on my experience, it is evident that Penske Cadillac of South Bay engages in deceptive practices. Their unwillingness to provide transparent communication and their attempts to mislead us about the application process are unacceptable. Despite Bob Uchida’s seemingly honest role, he was ultimately passing on false information from the management. I would advise potential customers to avoid Penske Cadillac of South Bay and seek out more reputable dealerships. Both Walter Martinez and Harout Boyadjian have demonstrated that they should not hold their current positions due to their dishonest conduct. Shop elsewhere to avoid the dishonest and unprofessional behavior exhibited by this dealership. More
