After I initially brought my car in to be repaired, I was told it would take a week as the part needed to be ordered from Germany. A week came and went, and no call from Service (only a request for feedback told it would take a week as the part needed to be ordered from Germany. A week came and went, and no call from Service (only a request for feedback on service quality, which was odd). I asked the person reaching out if they could help me with status, which they said they would, but then never got back to me. Not til after I called Service department again, did I get an update that the part finally arrived. Unfortunately, they couldn't schedule the work for another 10 days or so. At the end of the day, the car is fixed and the work was done right, which I appreciate, but the customer service aspect was not up to par. More
I was saved from near fatal accident because the car lost acceleration due to some glow plug malfunction. When called the dealership they told me they would arrange for a loaner car during the service but la acceleration due to some glow plug malfunction. When called the dealership they told me they would arrange for a loaner car during the service but last minute they cancelled and offered to pick the car and deliver the same day. They did pick the car but then they kept postponing to deliver the car for entire week with some or the other excuse. After the repairs the engine light was on within thousand miles so I called the dealership. I was promised a loaner and given a date way in the future. When I brought the car to the dealership they told me the service advisor is on vacation and there is no note for a loaner car. Since the service light was on and the car was overdue for state inspection I specifically told the service advisor that I have no option but to leave the car. I was helpless and thus even took the risk of being dropped in a dealership car but for the pick-up I was told to take uber service. This experience wasted my entire scheduled day because I did not have a car. Thinking that the issue was resolved few days later I went to Motor vehicles for inspection and it failed inspection due to some readiness. The person at DMV told me I should have been told by the dealership that I should have driver certain amount of miles before I went for inspection. That was another day wasted because of the dealer. Later the dealership manager returned my call and had no remorse and was very rude on the phone. This dealership has wasted my days because they they falsely promised what they could not deliver and there is a pattern. They did not perform the job because the issue resurfaced within less than thousand miles. Between the the two services I had received a recall later from Porsche but the dealership had told me there is no recall. When I went for the second service they told me there was a recall and they will perform the required upgrade. I am sure I may have missed several points but this is what recall. Update as of 9/16/202 In less than 500 miles the service engine light is on again and the service manager Ted Higgins has not called yet after more than two weeks whereas he was supposed to call in a week. I am unable to drive the car as it has failed inspection and the inspection is way past due. More
Unfortunately, the cost is substantialand the parts were not included. The impression I got when I dropped the vehicle off was that included in the price were all the part/fluids needed to service the vehi not included. That premise turns out to be not true and the price with parts was quite significant. Also,The price of the parts was not competitive I hope by my next need for service this will be corrected. The best car buying experience I have had at any dealership with any make of car. We bought our first Porsche with Raj, a certified pre-owned Macan.
