Games from the beginning with this dealer. From deceptive pricing, not being able to provide standard numbers on leases (answering what the residual is, money factor, etc), I haven't had such a frustrating experience with any dealer. Ended up buying a brand new Volvo S60 from McGrath in Barrington. Transparent and easy to work with the whole time. It's a shame since Patrick is right across the street from my office, but very much an unprofessional vibe coming from their sales manager and finance team there. More
My review is for the service department at Patrick Volvo. They could not give me an accurate quote for a standard 30K service for a 2019 XC40 I purchased new from them a little over 3 years ago. 4 differen They could not give me an accurate quote for a standard 30K service for a 2019 XC40 I purchased new from them a little over 3 years ago. 4 different quotes. My Volvo app, tied to my vehicle, stated service was no cost. When I called to set up the appt for the service, I was quoted $340. I explained that the Volvo car app said it was a no cost maintenance. The person from the service dept told me they would check and get back to me. That did not happen. So today before driving 31 miles one way to the dealer, I called to try to confirm cost of service, if any. The person from service that answered this time, looked up my service appointment and vehicle and told me the only thing I would be charged for under standard 30k maintenance would be the tire rotation, which is $49.99. An hour later when I arrived at the dealership for my service appt I asked to confirm the price again as I had been quoted 3 different estimates for the standard maintenance service. This time the quote was just over $200 for the same 30K mile maintenance. I left the dealership without getting the service. it's not a ton of money, but felt this should have been easy. There must be a big disconnect somewhere in their service department if they cannot provide an accurate estimate for standard 30K maintenance on a 3 year old car. I would recommend this dealer to make a new car purchase- great sales team and management, but get your car serviced elsewhere. More
Had a very bad and unprofessional experience. Not something I would expect at a luxury car dealership. Here are few things that I will highlighting in my review. 1) I was supposed to meet Jose wi something I would expect at a luxury car dealership. He met me and sent me over with one of the assistant sales consultant to take a look at the car. 2) The car details listed online on the dealership website did not match to the actual car specifications. Over $2400 worth of optional packages were misrepresented. (Stock #V21665A VIN# YV4162UK7K2146698) 3) When I highlighted it to the sales consultant, he went and spoke to Jose, who was sitting in the next cabin which I could clearly overhear. Jose did not have basic courtesy to come and talk to me. 4) I highlighted interest in another car which had similar specification to one I wanted except for my desired color. VIN YV4162UK7K2154090 Stock V21829A I offered the advertised price for the one which I came to test drive. But instead of discussing it with me, the sales consultant came back saying that their website price is accurate. 5) Needless to say after waiting for 30 mins, I decided to leave as I did not find this dealership worth doing business with. Egor Shevel and his sales manager Justin Rupp are both professional and helpful. They gave me a very good offer for a T5 Inscription.They never tried to push you to get into the dealership to make the dea professional and helpful. When I came in to close the deal, Egor spent his time explaining all the car features and did good demonstration. Justin also came out to great us and said goodby as well. Overall I recommend this dealership. More
Mo at Parick was a great salesperson! He understood my needs and that I did not have a lot of time, so he made sure everything was ready for me when I test drove the car, had my car evaluated for trade an needs and that I did not have a lot of time, so he made sure everything was ready for me when I test drove the car, had my car evaluated for trade and during the sales process. Tola was very friendly and nice. He kindly explained all the functions of the Volvo XC 40, and test driving was joyful. He did not push me anything for external charges. They don’t honor the commitment made on their website. I found a car and submitted an offer online. Never received a call back. When I contacted their Sales executive, Ashvin, he said that I should have con found a car and submitted an offer online. Never received a call back. When I contacted their Sales executive, Ashvin, he said that I should have contacted him directly and that their website offers go all Volvo dealers (if this is true, they should take down their website). Anyway, he said that the vehicle is not available anymore and that he would try to meet my requirements with an alternative. Then I got a call from Patrick, from their finance. He wanted to know my SSN to run a credit enquiry. I told him that the car is not available. But he said that it is available but the offer is not valid. He said that the information on their website is not correct and he said he can offer it at $200 higher per month. Obviously I was not OK with it and told him not to run a credit enquiry. He confirmed that he won’t. But on Monday I see that they have made an enquiry which dropped my credit score. Now I don’t have the car and my credit score has been impacted. I have had no luck in reaching their sales manager, Justin. The entire experience makes me feel that I have been scammed!! More
