Was in need of a new car and I did alot of looking on-line for used cars. Pactick Motors web site was the easiest to brouse and the most up to date. My wife and I went there first and the sales rep, M on-line for used cars. Pactick Motors web site was the easiest to brouse and the most up to date. My wife and I went there first and the sales rep, Mike Lodowsky, came out to to greet us and asked some basic questions to get us started. Within a few minuttes he had a list of cars in our price range and proceided to walk us throught the lot going over the carsas they came up.Well we wanted to look some more and tried 6 other dealers. At the otherguys it took 15 minuttes or longer for a rep to even come out and greet us. We where basicly ignored and we left a few with out even seeing a rep. So we went back to see Mike and he was great again. we test drove a few cars and he got mor into the features of the cars as we drove them. We picked out the car at 3 and was driving it home by 5 and they took care of everything for me, so no lines at the dmv or mulit trips to the insurance rep. Mike is a great salesmen and would recomend him to anyone and I will go there to buy a second car first in the future. More
Came in and ended up getting an 04 Saab 93. negotiated a price on the phone but had to renegotiate when I got there like we never had a coversation. paid $1200 extra to get the car certified. got this hand price on the phone but had to renegotiate when I got there like we never had a coversation. paid $1200 extra to get the car certified. got this hand filled inspection note that the car went through a rigorous inspection. on my way home from the dealership with the car I heard noises from the front wheels, ended up being a sway bar that needed to replaced which is on the Saab certified check list, obviously not checked by them, also the next morning I realized that the rear defrost was not functional and the rear glass had to be replaced, also on the check list... so I had to go back twice to get this taken care of, so this and the tennis ball I found in the engine leads me to believe that they pocketed the $1200 and did not check the car at all or bring it up to Saab standards, obviously I will never be back, not for service and definitly not for another car and I will do my best to spread this experience wherever I can. I think when anyone gets service at a dealership, they expect to pay more, but you also expect to get more. For example, I own a Toyota also, and when I drive the extra 20 miles to IRA Toyota in Milford, expect to pay more, but you also expect to get more. For example, I own a Toyota also, and when I drive the extra 20 miles to IRA Toyota in Milford, I get great people, great service, an amazing waiting expierience, and a nice, clean car that was serviced correctly. I have been to this dealer twice for service, and both times the car had to be towed in. As the saying goes, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I will never go back to this dealer, ever, for anything. The first time I had to get the oil pan on my wife's jetta replaced, and the price was outrageous, but I had no options. This time, the car was overheating. Let me share the prices and services they offered: Diagnosis, $94. Waterpump replacement and Timing belt replacement, $450. Timing Belt Tensioner, $120. H2O Temp Sensor, $180. Now, let me share with you the actual cost of these items, bought aftermarket: Waterpump (lifetime warranty) $90. Timing Belt, $37.50. Timing Belt Tensioner, $60. And the mother of them all the Water temp sensor, $20. They treat you like you know nothing about cars, when in fact, it is they that are clueless. I asked for the Tensioner to be put on after all the work had been completed, and the service sales person (cause thats what she is) told me they would have to remove the water pump to put on the tensioner. I was so irate, I just paid and took the car home. I bought the tensioner, and installed it in about 10 minutes and the waterpump was never touched. Trade your car in before you get service here. Just make sure you trade it in at another dealership. I will be going to Colonial VW from now on. More
I went in with my wife to look at a new Jetta and was greeted by Roger. After many typical experiences at dealerships, i was expecting the same. i was totally wrong. roger made the experience a memora greeted by Roger. After many typical experiences at dealerships, i was expecting the same. i was totally wrong. roger made the experience a memorable and fun one. very high energy without being pushy. Not only were we purchasing a car, but it was entertainment at its finest. Roger, the management, and the finance department all went above and beyond and got us a fantastic deal. i got a great deal for my wife and would recommend Patrick Volkswagen to anyone interested in a new vehicle!!! I have been shopping for a VW Eos and the second dealership my fiance and I visted was Patrick. We found the salesman, Roger, to be extremely rude. When we first arrived, he sat down with us and w dealership my fiance and I visted was Patrick. We found the salesman, Roger, to be extremely rude. When we first arrived, he sat down with us and we discussed what I was looking for, price ranges, lease vs buy, etc. Shortly after another employee informed Roger that his appointment was here and Roger replied "have someone else take it, these people are going to buy a car from me today". That should have been our first clue, however we did test drive one of the cars during which Roger made several comments. One was to imply if we slid him some cash he would "take care of us". Another comment was made to my fiance in reference to my physical appearance. Roger could not answer some of our questions regarding the car and even asked us if we had common sense as a response to one of these questions. By the end, we were ready to get out of there and Roger had one of the owners come over to try and save his sale. I would not recommend this dealership to anybody, they have no standards when it comes to professionalism and good sales. More
My '99 Passat had a timing belt failure that tooks the valves out (despite having only 50,000 miles on a belt rated for 90,000.) Faced with $4000 to fix plus >$1000 to fix the A/C that broke a couple of valves out (despite having only 50,000 miles on a belt rated for 90,000.) Faced with $4000 to fix plus >$1000 to fix the A/C that broke a couple of months ago I decided to sell the car. On Friday Mr. Patrick offered me '$500, more if you buy your new car here.' On Tuesday I went in to tell them I did not buy a VW and wanted to sell them mine for the agreed upon $500. He reneged on the deal and was a complete jerk about the whole thing. They lost a customer for life and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER. More
For sales I would not recommend this dealership- I have been there twice in the last 3 months and they never seem to have any prices on cars. They carry a sheet around for heed cars and the prices are so c been there twice in the last 3 months and they never seem to have any prices on cars. They carry a sheet around for heed cars and the prices are so close to new you might as well buy a new car. The Saab sales guy knew nothing about the volswagons and could not give any price. You wait to get help- Imagine having to find a sales person in a car dealership. Most of them pounce on you the moment you hit the lot- very strange way of doing business. I CANNOT comment on the service department as we decided not to buy from Patrick. Just as a footnote we had a totally positive experience though at Patrick Subaru in Shrewsbury- go figure! More

I went to Patrick Motors of Auburn Massachusetts with the intention of buying a certified used vehicle. That is what I thought and was told that I bought and was even given a "certificate" indicating such. The first time I needed a repair under the warrranty (which was about a year later) I was told that the dealership had no record that the car was certified and that the certificate I had was not worth anything (very convienent). I spoke with management and told them that I was a long time customer that had purchaed several vehicles from them and was told "sorry - water under the bridge there is nothing that we can do". That of course is not true they just chose not to do anything. VERY DECEPTIVE AND UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES!!! BE VERY CAUTIOUS IF YOU CHOOSE TO DEAL WITH THEM... More
Being a young woman, I am used to people thinking they can push me around, so I decided to make a few phone calls to narrow down my search. I was pleased with the deal that they offered for a new vehicle can push me around, so I decided to make a few phone calls to narrow down my search. I was pleased with the deal that they offered for a new vehicle and decided to give them a deposit. I had clarified early on that I would be financing through my credit union at work. They put my deposit through on my credit card and ten minutes later I received a phone call stating that they were not making enough money on the deal and I would need to come down to work out financing through them! I was very displeased with their business "ethics" and will not purchase from them, even if they tried to make good on their so called deal. More
