We felt very comfortable with David from the minute we got there - he listened to what our needs were and helped guide us toward the car that was the right fit for us....no sales tricks or pressure - just a very relaxed and satisying car buying experience. We absolutely recommend Patrick VW and David Haynes to anyone looking to purchase a great new vehicle without the typical hassle you get from other dealers. It was the easiest, most pleasant car buying experience we've had. Dan Feeley & Jennifer Novelline More
In 2008 my wife and I purchased two 2008 VW Passats. We enjoyed them very much and enjoyed our service and relationship with Patrick's VW. 2nd car bought from Patrick Motors. Had a few problems with 1st one and they handled the problems and even gave me a loaner. My wife and I were impressed the way we were treated. An actual pleasure dealin with 1st one and they handled the problems and even gave me a loaner. My wife and I were impressed the way we were treated. An actual pleasure dealing with this company. When we got the vehicle and went home there was alittle noise in the front wheel and called the dealership and they asked if we could bring it right in whick we did. It turned out to be something picked up on the road that got into the front wheel. It was taken care and they couldnt apologize enough to us that we had to b ring the car back the same day. A claas act and dealership. My 3rd car wiil without a doubt come from Patrick motors More
Went in to get warranty repairs, they either said warranty did not cover problems, or the problem was not there. Took to another dealership, they fixed everything under warranty. Treated absolutely h warranty did not cover problems, or the problem was not there. Took to another dealership, they fixed everything under warranty. Treated absolutely horribly by service rep, who was rude, all but screamed at me when I suggested these things are covered by warranty. Also set up an appointment on the phone a week before I brought in the car, however they had no record and I had to wait about 1/2 while they entered in the information I had already told on the phone before. They replaced a part, I had to ask 3 people to get the old part, as to confirm they had actually done the work they did. I had to pay for the work, but the original dealership I bought it from covered the cost of it, as it was supposed to be covered by warranty. More
I was blown away by the knowledge this individual possessed, Bob not only made my new car buying experience thrilling but I also got a great deal on a sweet new VW. I am telling my friends and they a possessed, Bob not only made my new car buying experience thrilling but I also got a great deal on a sweet new VW. I am telling my friends and they are telling their friends. I also feel that a great dealership is very rare, this is as great a find as it was a great car to buy William White More
Where do I start. I went there looking for a good used car and found a volkwagon Passat 4 motion. I liked the car and they convienced my to buy said car. The lies: I was told it runs on regular gas, and t car and found a volkwagon Passat 4 motion. I liked the car and they convienced my to buy said car. The lies: I was told it runs on regular gas, and that the Navagation has a slot for a CD as well while using the navagation (This is a DVD nav system); I was also told that I could install a six disk CD changer in the glove box. I questioned them about the cars appereance and if it was as clean as they said. I only saw this car at night, and we had a snow storm during the day and never saw the car completely cleaned. They said it was the "cleanest vehicle without flaws they had seen and that a salesmanger had even driven it." When I asked if it was a VW Certified car. They said for that I needed pay for the certification and to put down an additional $1,500. Well needless to say none of this is true. The car was clean inside but all 4 rims were damaged, If you take the navagation CD out you lose Navagation and can't use the CD player if using nav. The car takes a minium 91 octane gas. You cannot load two disk's at the same time, and since it has an aux port you can't use 6 disk changer. At 46 years old thought I would never get taken again, but it happened. I put $5,000 down on the car and thier exact words were, "you have plenty of equidy in this car." I paid $23,499 and got taken. I tried contacting them to see if I could give the car back(I knew it would be at a slight loss, that's what I thought)to buy a Subaru at thier other store. They wouldn't even nogociate at all. They had taken me and they new it. Well I contacted Father and Son's Volkwagon and they told me to certifie a car only cost $500.00. They had already taken my trade and told me there's no going back. I can say with all honesty the only person that was worth talking to is Al the salesman and they kept him quite the whole time. More

My wife and I went to Patrick VW to check out the CC sedan. We love the way they look but had never driven one. The salesman did a great job showing us all the features of the car, and we liked the ca sedan. We love the way they look but had never driven one. The salesman did a great job showing us all the features of the car, and we liked the car, but we were still not "sold" on it. Our salesman suggested we take the car for an extended test drive, and I am really glad that we did. After driving the car for a little longer we realized that this was the car for us. I was ready to go in and go through the normal back and forth haggling with the salesman, but they came right out and gave me such a great deal I almost didnt know what to do! That was such a relief because I HATE buying cars. The only problem was my wife HAD to have white gold metallic, and they did not have one on the lot. Then we learned that it was one of the hardest colors to get at the time. Well it didnt turn out to be that big of a problem because within a few days Patricks had called and said they found one for us. My wife was so excited she forced me to leave work early and pick up the car that afternoon! All in all this was the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had. More
One of the worst buying experiences ever. We found a car on Cars.com and it was not the cheapest car in the area, about $800.00 more but we liked the color they had. Big sign as you walk in the door guarant on Cars.com and it was not the cheapest car in the area, about $800.00 more but we liked the color they had. Big sign as you walk in the door guaranteed lowest price. We showed them the list of other prices in the area and they would not come down a penny. So we said we would take it anyway because we loved the color. They take a deposit on the charge card and we start to do the paper work. I tell them I can get a 3% loan rate with our credit union. And they came back with 4%. So I said we'll just use our credit union and bring a bank check for the full amount. No big deal, right. We were only borrowing 8,000.00 on a 26,500.00 car. I felt more comfortable using our credit union even if they matched the rate. They refused and demanded we use their financing if we wanted the car. We felt something was wrong and said we'll pass on the car. We asked for our deposit back (that they just took 5 minutes earlier and we had not signed a thing just a credit application) and he said we'll do it tomorrow. A week later it has not been credited. It turns out we learned that all dealers get a kick back for loans. We had no problem with that if they just simply told us. But we didn't understand why they could not take essentially cash, no trade in for the full asking price the next day the bank opened. They essentially made $500 or so less for not selling a loan too, but we didn’t know that and they didn’t tell us that, so we felt something was very wrong (like prepayment penalties on the loan). When we went to the next dealer on the list Patrick had called ahead to try and black ball us. We did buy the exact same car there for about a $1000.00 less and 3% finance using their bank (we now understood and they never explained it either but they matched out bank and sold the car cheaper). We went to look for a used VW, and found one. The problem was the following day when we went to go buy it...we called ahead to make sure it was still avalible and got the sales guy's voice mail. So we drove was the following day when we went to go buy it...we called ahead to make sure it was still avalible and got the sales guy's voice mail. So we drove over to the dealer...just as we pulled on to the lot the sales guy called back and told us to come in. This is when things get interesting...as we walked in we was told someone was thinking about buying the same SUV... and we got used to encurage the other buyer to close the deal. Yes, I understand the used car buisness is know for slime...but this is a VW dealer not your average junk car dealer...When we pulled up on the lot... they could have let us know, rather than making us walk in on the sale being closed in front of us and feel like idiots...
