My sister purchased a car online based on information on the dealer website. Dealer stated it was certified vehicle and had 17580 miles. Also said free delivery up to 500 miles. She put a $500 deposit on the car on 6/14/25, paid for it $15500 on 6/16/25. She and I repeatedly asked about the 2 year 100,000 mile warranty and both the sales manager and the salesman said it came with the car. That was a primary concern since she lived out of state. They told her the car would be shipped and she would be notified. On 6/20/2025 she messaged to see when the car would be delivered as she needed a vehicle. She had to leave messages and no calls were returned. I called them and refused to hang up until I spoke to a service manager. They then told me there was an issue with the car and they were trying to work out. After several weeks and leaving messages with no return calls and no updates, she tried getting money back. After several calls and finally talking to the sales manager, they did agree to refund her money. I called the Westlake police department and spoke to a female officer and ask if they would accompany me to the dealership to get the money. The officer told me to stop by there first and they would go with me. The next day as I was preparing to drive to get her money, my sister called me and told me Serpentini said the vehicle was being shipped. That was a lie as it took another 3 days before it was on its way. The reason for the whole delay was the engine needed replaced. No notification that was happening, no return calls to update. When the car arrived, it seemed ok. Recently, she had an issue with the engine and took it to a GM garage in Kentucky who told her there is no warranty on it. She called Serpentini Chevrolet several times and no one has returned her calls. I called and gave them my info to call me. They told me there was no 2-year warranty. Had she known the engine needed replaced to begin with, she never would have purchased the car. Now she is stuck with it, they will not honor what she and I was told during the sale. We were both told repeatedly that it was a certified vehicle, that it had a 2 year 100,000 mile warranty and that the replacement engine was one with less than or equal miles in order to have the warranty. After a month of calling them and getting no calls back, I contacted the BBB. Even though we have the pictures of the ad saying it had the warranty and free delivery, Serpentini responded by saying they are not responsible for errors in the ad and that she signed an as is disclosure. SHE ASKED THEM ABOUT THE WARRANTY DUE TO THE FACT THE ENGINE WAS CHANGED AND WAS ASSURED IT HAD A 2 YEAR 100,000 MILE WARRANTY. I was on speaker phone with her when she was doing this and asked about the warranty. Her son was with her when the car was delivered and was told it had the warranty. No paperwork came with the car. She had to request the paperwork be sent so she could license it in Kentucky. If she signed an as is, they slipped that in. 3 of us heard what they said. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PLACE. LIARS AND ZERO CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I will post the sales manager's name and the salesman's name and the photos of the ad when she sends me that info. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! More

They took advantage of me and they knew I had nobody else to help me.
