Took our 2009 Silverado in because of recall on airbags. At the time there was one small crack in the plastic dashboard but when we picked up the truck the dash was broken in at least 3 places. Totally un At the time there was one small crack in the plastic dashboard but when we picked up the truck the dash was broken in at least 3 places. Totally unacceptable. When it was brought to the shop managers attention he “graciously” offered to take $600 off the $1700 cost to repair. No response as to why I should have to pay $1,100 to repair what they broke. Lost me as a customer. More
Everything was as expected. They didn't budge on the price of the truck I was purchasing. However, since I was driving from 3.5 hours away, they offered a fair price on my trade with pics, VIN etc. I price of the truck I was purchasing. I went to Parkway Chevrolet Service Dept 4/5/21 to have a 2020 Camaro Convertible checked out because the A/|C was not working. Mind you I bought the car somewhere else, used 12,000 miles. I met C B Bogan, 2020 Camaro Convertible checked out because the A/|C was not working. Mind you I bought the car somewhere else, used 12,000 miles. I met C B Bogan, Service Advisor, who was so helpful, willing to listen, looked at my car. To his surprise and mine he found the problem immediately. He looked at me and said "this car has been wrecked"!! I can't even tell you what I said. I called the dealership I bought the car from and told them what I had discovered. Long story short, C B Bogan held it together as a professional and helped me deal with this unfortunate incident! THANK YOU CB, you are the best. When I get ready to look for another Camaro, you can bet it will be at PARKWAY CHEVROLET. More

I bought a 2021 Tahoe last week from Parkway Chevrolet and love it. The salesman, Bob Hodge, did a good job and I would buy from him again, but not if he worked at Parkway Chevrolet. When I picked up my and love it. The salesman, Bob Hodge, did a good job and I would buy from him again, but not if he worked at Parkway Chevrolet. When I picked up my vehicle it did not come equipped with the floormat/floor liner/cargo mat combination that I had ordered. The aftermarket lady and a salesman, who identified himself as Hodge's boss, provided a convoluted explanation for why these items were not included with my vehicle and then tried to sell me on items I didn't want or need going so far as to tell me that the floor liners I had ordered were not available and would not become available for several months at the very earliest. I walked outside and called the parts department of both Parkway Chevrolet and Lonestar Chevrolet and both dealers confirmed that floor liners for my vehicle were available. Having been lied to by these two Parkway employees I chose to order my aftermarket items from Lonestar Chevrolet, all of which arrived the next day. More

Before I arrived: I tried ca Impressions of Parkway Chevrolet Issue: Check Engine light came on -- 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 47,000 miles. Before I arrived: I tried calling to ask about my issue before I brought my truck. I had stopped into Autozone to have them read which code was popping up. It was identified as U1501, which you can google and it explains the issue. I was met with opposition and forced into the dealership by a “service advisor”. They offered no useful information other than to tell me that their Corporate Policy was to not discuss information over the phone, but they could only give advice once the vehicle was brought in. I was told that there wouldn’t be a charge unless there was work done. *This was not true* At the Dealership: I pulled into the service bay and I was immediately asked if I bought the vehicle from Parkway Chevrolet (I did not) and the first thing I’m told is that it will be $105 diagnostic and $60 for a shop charge for them to run a simple diagnostic check prior to any work being done or in the ‘advisors’ words “…just for pulling up…”. This was off putting. The Service Advisor asked if I have an extended warranty, I said “I do”, and quickly followed that up with the comment “…We will NOT negotiate with your Warranty Company..” He then told me that Parkway Chevrolet bills their labor at $165/hour and that was NON-Negotiable so if my Warranty Company only wanted to pay $100/hour then I’d be on the hook for the rest. He added that “some Warranty Companies were better than others but that Parkway Chevrolet has to protect itself” so they DON’T negotiate. At this point I’ve been at Parkway Chevrolet less than 10 minutes, am out of pocket $165 dollars, and told that I may still be on the hook for more money. I was then briskly ushered into the empty waiting area and told to “sit tight while {we} take a look at the truck…” I waited for over 2 hours for the diagnosis which was described as an issue with the valve-flap, but did not have any paperwork or additional details to provide me with. The Service Technician had already contacted my Warranty Company and determined that they are going to cover $900 of the overall service charge. Again, they did not provide me with any detailed information as to what they told the Warranty Company was needing to be repaired. In addition to the 2 hours spent in the waiting room I was told the job would take 3 hours and someone would call ME to let me know my truck was ready. 8 HOURS LATER I called the dealership and was told that my truck was almost done and that I could head up there and pick it up?!?! Come to find out, they called my Warranty Company AFTER I left the dealership to solicit more work from them WITHOUT my consent! Final Diagnosis: The three words that I would use to describe my experience: • Dishonest • NON-Transparent • Inconsiderate I’m out of Pocket $150 and they billed my warranty company over $900 for a “3 hour job” that undoubtedly will take less than an hour. And of course I wasn’t able to leave without them “Recommending” an additional $400 dollars in service that the Service Advisor could ‘knock down’ to $350….it’s interesting to know that some things CAN and CAN’T be negotiated. Based on my experience I would NEVER bring my business to Parkway Chevrolet or recommend that anyone I know bring their business to Parkway Chevrolet. I’m not going to assume that EVERY customer experience is like mine. It’s unfortunate. I left the dealership feeling like they DIDN’T want my business now or in the future. It’s as if I had INCONVENIENCED them by bringing them business. More
