She was very knowledgeable and Alex really listened to my particular situation and directed me to the deal best for me. They worked with me every step of the way. This is my third Toyota and my second RAV4. The entire dealership was friendly and accommodating with absolutely NO PRESSURE unlike other dealerships. Once we decided on an upgrade he made the deal worth it. Mouna was very helpful showing us the cars and educating us on the differences in the cars. She also was very thorough in teaching us about all that was in our car. We did face a couple challenges once we arrived in finance. Evidently all information wasn't communicated with finance that we were given re price and tag. Finance was very accommodating in making it right. More

UNETHICAL, FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES I went to Parks Toyota of DeLand, alone, on 09/10/16, while in a full blown manic state due to bi-polar disorder. I was mentally incompetent to enter I went to Parks Toyota of DeLand, alone, on 09/10/16, while in a full blown manic state due to bi-polar disorder. I was mentally incompetent to enter into a purchase and finance contract. I had no job and a gross income of only $1,200 per month. Due to my vulnerable state, I paid full asking price, $35,000, for a 2013 Toyota. During financing, all of the extras were added to include extended warranty, extended service plan, tire and wheel protection, and GAP insurance. Although I had a high beacon score, I was hit with an exorbitant finance rate of 6.06% interest, with a payment of $744.70 for 72 months, for a total cost of $53,618.40. The day after the purchase, I was admitted to the psychiatric unit at a hospital for bi-polar manic disorder. Immediately after leaving the hospital, my husband went directly to the dealership and explained the situation to one of the Sales Managers, Tom Scheffer, who feigned concerned for my circumstances. My husband asked how I was approved for financing with no job, and he said with my high beacon score no employment is required. He also said that “household income” is taken into account. He said he would speak to the General Manager and have him call my husband the next day. He said, “I’m sure we can do something to help you out.” My husband received no call the next day, so he went back to the dealership and spoke again with the same Sales Manager, Tom Scheffer, who gave the same response. To this day, my husband has not received any phone call or other response as promised. Weeks later, I went to the dealership to get a copy of my credit application, but I was stonewalled by another Sales Manager who told me I would have to get it from the home office. I went to the home office and was told by the woman responsible for documents that I had to get it from the dealership. After explaining the runaround I encountered at Parks Toyota of DeLand, she gave me a copy of the credit application. I was completely and utterly dumbfounded when I saw that the finance representative had shown my status as retired with a monthly income of $5,800! I recall being asked about my husband’s monthly income during the credit application process although he was not a party to the purchase or aware that I was even at the dealership. Since the initial purchase of the Toyota, I have been in a mental hospital on 4 separate occasions. I feel that Parks Toyota of DeLand took advantage of me while I was in a vulnerable manic state and Parks Toyota knowingly submitted a fraudulent credit application to Southeast Toyota Finance in order to facilitate the sale of the vehicle. As a result, the Toyota was voluntarily repossessed. More

Bait and Switch - Deliberately Lies! I had the unfortunate lapse of judgement and did not look at reviews prior to entering Parks Toyota. A few weeks ago, I went in and had a nice experience with DJ. We test drove a Toyota Camry and he did a nice job explaining all the features. Once we returned inside, we talked numbers. He assured me he could easily bring the price down from sticker by $1000. When the head guy (Chad) was brought into the equation, things really went south. First he said there was nothing he could do and their hands are tied...blah blah blah...then I said I would walk out then. All of a sudden the tune changed and said he could absolutely reduce it since he could tell I really wanted to purchase the vehicle. This was about 2 hours after having walked through the door, test driving, meet and greet, etc... So he brought over the paper with the numbers and upon looking closely he just manipulated some things so that it appeared from the bottom line that we had the agreed upon price but his sneaky tactic was really just reducing the monthly payment and increasing the life of the loan. The total would actually be the exact same! When I called him out on it, he "realized" he had made a mistake. Walked out immediately and accepted the loss of my day. Very bad ethics here. I can't speak to the other salesman/managers but I would absolutely stay away from Chad. More
