When I bought the car he was a newbie but I guess a few years seasoned and his customers are left in the dust. Very disappointed in the service here. Won't be back.. New rav4 purchase Micheal was our first contact. He did the test drive with us. He new the vehicle very well and explained many of the options we weren’t familiar with. Micheal was our first contact. We worked out pricing and location of the one with the right color and interior wth him. When we came to pick up and purchas he was with another customer so he introduced Bruce to us. Bruce went over the car with us to make sure it was perfect. There was a fla in the pin stripe. He is taking care of it. He also went through the new features to make sure we had no questions and hooked up the phone for my wife. Then got me into finance. More

Started off well, but ended really poorly. Waste of Time. I inquired about a pre-owned 2008 range rover supercharged. Got an email back from Ron Ames. He was very pleasant. He wanted my cell phone numeber so I inquired about a pre-owned 2008 range rover supercharged. Got an email back from Ron Ames. He was very pleasant. He wanted my cell phone numeber so that he could text me pictures. After sending me pictures, we negotiated and we made a deal for $10K out the door subject to a pre-sale inspection by a local mechanic. I organized the inspection and arranged to pay for it with the mechanic. I asked Ron to drop off the car at the garage and give them 2 hrs. Later Ron said his service team had done a pre-inspection and he could let me know about the issues encountered. He texted me the list and there were 2 issues that stood out - the Terrain System had a fault and so did the TPMS. I asked Ron to get his techs to give me some details on the codes. I agreed to pay for the control arm bushings and other items. I did not hear from Ron for a while and since I was supposed to go to the dealership that evening, I texted him to ask him if he had any details. He replied that he and the sales associate who took it into trade were both very busy since it was the end of the month. I replied by telling him that we could defer the transction to the next day. He agreed. The next day I texted Ron and asked for an update. He replied that he was busy with other guests. After waiting a few hours I texted him to ask if the truck had gone to the garage for the pre-sales inspection. Instead of a reply from Ron, I got a phone call from someone who claimed to be the sales manager (did not catch his name). In the cliche "used car salesman" style, he proceeded to berate me for wasting their time saying that the car was on his lot and not leaving it until I paid for it. I could come to Deland from Winter Park and buy it "as is", but they were not going to answer any more of my questions!" He then wished me a good day and hung up the phone (if you are trying to be rude, no need to wish someone a good day, just hang up. Dont be passive agressive. . Needless to say, I am not surprised that people hate going to car dealerships. In this day and age, the fact that good customer service and basic communication skills are sorely lacking is so disappointing especially for transactions of this magnitude. I have bought and sold plenty of cars, and can afford to buy anything I want for cash. This is not the type of service I expected from someone who claims to be a manager. Ron Ames is a good sales consultant. He is new in the role, but has a bright future as long as he works for someone else. His Manager makes him look bad and sullies his reputation. Ron refers to customers as guests, and they should be treated as such. Unfortunately his superiors decided to treat me like they did not value my business. Too bad. 96% of customers will nor complain directly to the company, but they will tell an averageo of 15 others about their experience. I am one of the 4% that does complain politely and with just the facts. If an issue is resolved fairly and acciompanied by a sincere apology, I will recount how the company made things right. If no action is taken, I will make sure 15,000 others hear about it. I am a strong believer in being diplomatic, considerate, kind and honest and I make sure I applaud those that do behave in that manner. When I encounter people that dont, I call them out. More
Very helpful in picking the perfect minivan for us. I had brought my 2016 minivan in for routine service and spoke to Bruce on the phone, so we stopped in to speak with him in person.
