I had a recent service experience at Parks Hyundai of Gainesville that left me with very mixed feelings. First, I want to acknowledge the staff. Every person I interacted with was kind, respectful, an Gainesville that left me with very mixed feelings. First, I want to acknowledge the staff. Every person I interacted with was kind, respectful, and genuinely trying to help. Edwin in particular went out of his way to be supportive, and the service manager Gerald was also professional and understanding. That said, it’s very clear the team is overwhelmed and operating in a system that isn’t set up for success. My car was towed in on a Tuesday. It took about 24 hours to diagnose the issue. The part needed wasn’t in stock and had to be ordered, which I understand can happen. Where things became frustrating was the communication and timeline: I called Monday for an update and was told my car would be ready by 3 PM At 3 PM, I hadn’t heard anything, so I called and was placed on hold for 20–30 minutes I was then told it would be ready by end of day I returned my rental and walked from Hertz to the dealership, only to find my car was still not ready The car was finally completed at 6:08 PM, after their stated closing time of 6 PM On top of that, I had to pay out of pocket for a rental vehicle while waiting. That was especially frustrating given the delay was due to the part not being in stock, something completely outside of my control. While waiting, I got a clearer picture of what’s happening behind the scenes. Staff were managing a constant stream of customers while also handling phones via walkie talkies. Some had been there since 6:30 AM. At one point, I overheard an employee say they are not equipped to handle the current volume of vehicles. Between my visits I witnessed 4 other cars be towed in. That moment really stood out, because it confirmed what the experience already felt like. This doesn’t feel like a people problem. It feels like a system problem. The volume of cars, lack of capacity, and communication breakdowns are creating a situation where both employees and customers are set up to struggle. The staff are doing their best, but they appear overworked and burnt out. On top of that, my vehicle itself has been a major source of stress. It’s only four years old and has had ongoing engine issues that feel like a domino effect of repairs. Most recently, I was quoted around $3,000 in repairs, on top of still having a monthly car payment. Overall: The people: kind, professional, and doing everything they can The system: overwhelmed and not equipped to handle demand The cost: rental expenses + ~$3,000 in repairs while still carrying a car payment The vehicle quality: deeply concerning I truly appreciate the individuals working there. But until something changes at a system level, I would be cautious about both servicing here and purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. More

In and out, in a very timely manner. I had a service, tire fix and sensor calibration. Also a recall for trailer issues. In less than two hours. This all happened after I had to change my appointment because of a medical appointment change. As always if I don't like my treatment, I won't keep coming back.
