I came in to the Ford dealership one night just "to look" not knowing whether I was ready to turn in my 2008 Escape that I loved. But after speaking with Steven Smith, he showed me all of the new spec look" not knowing whether I was ready to turn in my 2008 Escape that I loved. But after speaking with Steven Smith, he showed me all of the new specs on the 2013 Escape. He also worked with me to help me decide whether financing or leasing was a better option for me. In the long run, I decided to lease for 3 years. I love the new 2013 Escape. My experience at Ford was great. I have bought more than 10 Fords in my lifetime and Steven has far surpassed most of the "car salespeople" I have worked with in the past. He just doesn't look at it as "selling" you a car. He honestly wants to earn your business by offering you a friendly approach, information about the vehicle and top notch customer service. Wow....it is hard to believe...great customer service at a car dealership! Times really are changing! In three years, Ill be back to trade in my car and I hope Steven is still there to assist me! I went car shopping one rainy day looking for a Jeep Wrangler. Long story short, As I made my way down S Main St Gainesville car dealers, I stopped at Ford. I was on my motorcyle. A salesman greeted me, I wasn't particularly approachable :-) Just Looking!!! The salesman spent time listening to me. He made several really good suggestions, had I considered a lease. The lease deals were awesome. But then, he mentioned a vehicle I'd considered earlier this year; just didn't want a big monthly payment. I drove out with an excellent condition Nissan Rogue which i LOVE. The monthly payments are within my budget and I have a 4 year old, 50K + vehicle (after a lifetime of driving much older higher mileage vehicles. I'm thrilled. They promised a full tank of gass and detail at a later date; that way i could drive home that night (and abandoned my bike! LOL). Time flew, I had a surgery, and at some point, thought, Yikes It's Been Over a Month. I called, they said Come On in!!!! and took excellent care of me. I had no appointment. And they kept checking on me in the waiting area to make sure I was comfortable. The car looked newer than new when done. Everything was opened up, even the gas cap. I'm like?????? why??? The supervisor comes out to review every nook and cranny, to make sure its spotless. It was! The gent who helped me with financing was great, not pushy. And Sales Associate Steven Smith has been terrifc. The followup has been unparalleled. More
