They just flat-out lied. I don't even know where to start. Earlier this month I went up to see an '06 Saab 9-2x. Test drove it and came back with my verdict. It needed a brake job (squealing and stuttering when applying the brakes), had a chip (starting to spread/spider) in the windshield directly in line of the driver's sight, the Climate Package (heated seats or outside mirrors) as stated in the online description was absent, and I was mainly wondering, @106+K miles, if the timing belt had been done. Knowing of my concerns, Rick said they can drop ~$500 off the asking price and they'll do the brakes. But my biggest concern was the timing belt; ~$600+ job. I tried going lower on the price, but he was steadfast. So I left. That evening Rick emailed me stating he called up the dealer that the Saab was serviced, and he confirmed the service listed on the CarFax @90,343 miles was in fact for the timing belt. So now I'm interested again. Forward a couple of weeks later when I had a chance to get back up there again. I check the website and they dropped the asking price another ~$500 AND states it’s "Saab CPOed," but they never updated the lack of Climate Package (which they fully know since I told them!) OK lower price and Saab CPO...I'm heading up to check it out for a 2nd time. I get there, to find out the "Saab CPO" was not supposed to be on the website (Rick didn’t even know it was there!), the brakes squealing and stuttering even worse, and chip in windshield starting to get bigger. I tried asking for another ~$500 off the price (which was what I was offering the fist time I was up there), and he just kept saying the price listed on the internet is it, he can't move from there. I even asked him to present my offer to his manager. And he refused! Can you believe that?!?! I should have walked out right there. So here's the flat-out lie...I asked about the timing belt again; I wanted confirmation that it was done. He says that it was a CUSTOMER, who was also interested in the car, who told him that they found out, through the dealership it was serviced, that the timing belt was replaced. It was not him, Rick. So my gf asked if he can call up the dealer and ask for the service records. He says that he can't do that b/c he's not the owner of the car. Then she asks then how did the "other interested customer" get that info if he too isn't the owner of the car? Then she asks "but isn't Park Ave Saab/Lotus the owner of the car now? Then why can't he call to get the service records?" At this moment I was fed up with, almost embarrassed for, him...There was only so much lies a person can take...For all I know the car could have been in the greatest condition, but I can't buy a car if I can't even trust the guy selling it to me! I worked with Andy, who could not have been more helpful and friendly. Never felt pressured to commit to anything, but was also taken seriously as a prospective buyer. The vehicle I purchased (and all the vehicles I took a look at) were clean, quality pre-owned vehicles with great mileage and awesome prices/ values. The entire process was an awesome experience. Great financing rates, too! The financing rate was great, the price was right, the trade-in experience a breeze and very fair. The entire process was great. Andy even apologized for taking so long filling our paperwork. Total time I think I spent at the dealership was just about two hours. That included me looking at the vehicle prior to even entering the dealership, as well as the test drive and all paperwork. It was great! I think it was the least amount of time I've ever spent purchasing a new vehicle. Andy even had someone fill the tank of my new car with gas since it was almost on empty during the test drive. Then even remembered seeing no drivers floor mat so he popped one out of an identical vehicle on the lot as he mentioned it was probably left with the person who detailed it. I would definitely recommend this dealership and my dealer Andy D. to anyone looking for a quality highline used car, especially Saab. He's very knowlegable, friendly and respectful during the entire process. Being about 1.5 hours from my home, it was well worth the trip. As Andy mentioned Saab will once again be making cars and they should have them in 2014. I'm looking forward to seeing the new vehicles. When the lease is up on another vehicle I have I will be considering another purchase at Park Ave! Thanks again for everything! More
I've owned SAABs for 40 + years. Jeremy and Andy were great to work with, friendly, honest and very knowledgeable about SAABs. I retired my 1995 9000 CSE Turbo w/ 290 K miles to become an ice racer and b great to work with, friendly, honest and very knowledgeable about SAABs. I retired my 1995 9000 CSE Turbo w/ 290 K miles to become an ice racer and bought a very clean 2008 SAAB 95 Sportcombi w/ Aero package from Park Ave SAAB / Lotus. I'm sure they could have sold the car "as is", but they detailed the car, installed new brake rotors and pads, new 17" radials all around and new OEM rubber floor mats. This car had 36 K miles and looks and feels like new. If you're looking for a new or used SAAB (they have Lotus and other very nice Mercedes, VW's,etc as well), you should meet these guys. And not to forget Lotus, the greater cat. Beautiful friendly animal, another good reason to stop by. More

Spoke to Jeremy who knew more about Saab"s and the different little changes from year to year. We were shocked, we actually found a place that had a large inventory of new and preowned Saab's. That Saturday we drove in from Soho and got a 09 95 wagon. This place is like hipsterville car lot. Guys dressed really cool and lot's of knowledge without being cheezy. Kinda like the apple store of Saab dealer. The dealership truly fits the brand. More

I recently purchased a 2011 SAAB 9-5 from from Park Ave Lotus. It was by far the best car buying experience I've had. Andy DeSalvo and Jeremy were courteous and knowledgeable. Both were able to answer a Lotus. It was by far the best car buying experience I've had. Andy DeSalvo and Jeremy were courteous and knowledgeable. Both were able to answer all of my questions, and provided a comprehensive solution I didn't expect. This included a fair price, 3 year warranty, and competitive financing. On a lighter note, both Andy and Jeremy were very easy going....you won't think you're buying a car. I had my family in tow. They accommodated my dog with their cat, the kids were playing ball in the showroom, and we watched Seinfeld. The ultimate buying experience. More
Had a wonderful experience and strongly recommend Park Avenue! Called the day before taking a 2 1/2 hour drive and spoke to Jeremy who immediately makes you feel welcome. During the visit, Jeremy and And Avenue! Called the day before taking a 2 1/2 hour drive and spoke to Jeremy who immediately makes you feel welcome. During the visit, Jeremy and Andy gave me plenty of time to make up my mind as I tried to decide between two Saabs. I had a lot of stuff accumulated in my old car - they let me move it into the service bay as a thunderstorm unexpectedly came in while we were taking care of the paperwork. Above and beyond, they lent me their camera, took and emailed back a couple photos with me next to my old and new Saabs. Jeremy then offered to ship my roof rack back home to me as it first needed to be disassembled. Going even further when we were done, he took some extra time to help guide me into NYC, find a parking spot, and recommend a restaurant! Will be looking forward of course to a future visit. Nice website and place for online shopping too! More

The guys at Park Ave Lotus are wonderful and so friendly! They also hooked me up with a Saab dealer close to my house for all my car needs. I would recommend Park Ave Lotus to anyone looking for excellent costumer service and a new exotic car! More
