Although AAA supposedly had a "special rate" with a Honda dealership in Escondido, I decided to check with a closer dealership to see if they could come close to the special rate (Escondido is a with a Honda dealership in Escondido, I decided to check with a closer dealership to see if they could come close to the special rate (Escondido is about a 30 min. drive from my house). Not only could Pacific Honda (in Kearny Mesa) come close, they BEAT the rate I was quoted as the special AAA rate! Wally was our salesperson, and he was super nice and helpful, and also very knowledgeable about the car. The car buying experience was painless, and I am excited about my new car. I was a bit concerned as I saw some reviews that weren't very positive, but I have absolutely no complaints. I hope the service side of the business is as efficient and pleasant as the sales side. I arrived on at Pacific Honda with absolutely no intention of leaving with keys to a 2012 Civic - but I'm glad I did. The sales person Jaime walked me through what I described to him as important to me in a car. Every thing from gas mileage, crash ratings, color and trim were made note of. Within 15 mins, I was in the perfect car. While on the test drive Jaime talked to me about the 0.9% APR offer they had going on-and of which I wasn't aware of. Not knowing my credit score, we ran some info and I qualified :) and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase and Jaime. I was in and out of Pacific Honda with my new car in an an hour and a half flat.
