Took my vehicle in for service in the evening. Got a call from the dealer that it was done and would be ready for pick up at 8 a.m. the next day. At 9 a.m., I was told that it was not done because it s call from the dealer that it was done and would be ready for pick up at 8 a.m. the next day. At 9 a.m., I was told that it was not done because it still needed to be washed and that the wash bay didn't open until 8 a.m. and that mine was still in line. I complained that one shouldn't be told that a car would be ready at 8 a.m. if that was not possible. Next time tell me 9 or 9:30. All I wanted the manager (Jeff) to say was "sorry, I will talk to the service guys so they don't tell customers that cars will be ready at 8". What I get is "well it is a hand wash so it takes a while and yours was not first in line". We own 3 Toyotas, and now that the name brand does not mean what it used to, you would think that customer service would be a priority. We will be buying a car for my 16 year old in the next month and it will not be a Toyota primarily because he is thinks they are bad cars since he has only heard bad press. If Toyota is going to have a hard time getting new customers, you would think they would want to keep the ones they have. More
I don't typically take the time to write a review about anything but I had a very positive experience tonight. My husband and I bought a new Toyota Sienna. We spent several days price shopping in the pap anything but I had a very positive experience tonight. My husband and I bought a new Toyota Sienna. We spent several days price shopping in the paper, online and at dealerships to get a good deal during the Memorial Day weekend sale. The sales manager, Chris Woods, was very professional and efficient. We were ready to buy and discussed it over the phone before we would be willing to step foot in the dealership. When we arrived, the car we expected was ready and waiting for us (no bait and switch tricks) and the pricing was fair, without the dealership trying to sneak in extra hidden fees. During the time I had called all local dealerships, some dealers had nasty things to say about their competitors. I decided to come in to Ourisman Fairfax Toyota because I liked that Chris could very clearly say whether or not he could sell me the car I was looking for at my price, without needing to badmouth his competitors. He did not waste our time because our paperwork was expedited and everyone at the dealership was so nice to our toddlers during the process. After we agreed to the deal and it was pretty much in the bag for our salesman, Fahim Kakar, he still took the time to come back and check on the kids. Fahim even went to the vending machine to buy them snacks while he could have been out trying to work on new deals (it was a very busy day). So we finished the deal and signed everything, including financing through Toyota Financial Services, and we left. Later that night, I had concerns about our payment schedule and Chris worked with us immediately to make adjustments so that our monthly payments could better fit our budget. Keep in mind we already signed and agreed to terms so it was our fault for signing and wanting to change after driving off with the car. He was very cordial and made it clear that he wanted our long-term business and referrals and therefore wanted us to leave happy. I came in expecting typical dealer shenanigans and was a little weary of some negative reviews I had seen online. I can happily say that we were so pleased with this experience and will buy from them again. This was our 3rd new car purchase and we know the games some dealers play and I was pleasantly surprised at how well this went. Our two kids were each given snacks, balloons, keychains and drinks by several different staff during the time we were there. When our kids were batting their balloons onto the sales managers' desk area, I felt so embarrassed that they were such a nuisance but Chris assured us that it was fine and they didn't mind so that we could focus on signing our papers. There was one minor error in our paperwork that I noticed while we were signing, but they quickly corrected it and given the overall positive experience I can give them the benefit of the doubt and believe that it was an honest mistake versus "trickery." I did have another concern after they had closed and I came back a SECOND time (yes, I am a difficult to please customer). There were still a few people there and Chris had left for the day but they got him on his cell phone and he was able to assure me, all the while keeping very cordial and professional. I really can't say enough great things and I'm usually a complainer. I'll definitely spread the word--these guys are so much better than the vultures that swarmed us at other dealerships. They provided us additional options that we declined (of course) but did not use high pressure sales tactics. All this plus Ourisman gives a free "Auto 4 Life" warranty beyond the manufacturer's warranty so it was a great deal. More
VERY VERY BAD customer service. Robert (don't know his last name) was very rude to me. I made an appointment for my car because they didn't put my undercarriage cover back on the last time I had an oil change there and he (robert) deliberately made me waited for almost two hours that would normally take 5mins to do. I would not go back to this dealership ever again. More

Purchase process was a nightmare. Spent four hours negotiating a trade-in. Business manager, Jimmy Z, kept pushing this massive warranty package. He spent more time pushing warranty than on actual paperwork! When I noted his pushy attitude in a survey, he called me and laid a guilt trip about how he was fired because of my survey! No joke. Their service department, on the other hand, is just awesome. Sean and Amy work in the service department. I called upon them to get some upgrades. They made the process painless and easy. Even provided a loaner car (at no charge for first day). When I picked up my auto, they explained the new features thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Very happy with service group. If you can survive the sales process drama, you can get a good deal that will be backed by a great service department. More

My wife and I were drawn to this dealership from NC, due to the fact they had quite a few Sienna Limted FWD vans available, and they had a few with "special" pricing. We drove 4 hours to checkout their sele to the fact they had quite a few Sienna Limted FWD vans available, and they had a few with "special" pricing. We drove 4 hours to checkout their selection and to buy a new van. Our local NC dealerships did not have any Sienna Limited FWD vans with the options or the colors were were looking to buy. We drove to the dealership on Friday afternoon. Picked out a van, and negotiated a price. We told the salesman that we wanted to sleep on it, and we would either call or come back on Saturday to buy the van. The dealership opened at 9:00AM Saturday, I called the sales person on Saturday morning on his cell phone @ 8:30 to let him know we were coming back in to buy the car. Keep in mind, the sales person had collected copies of our DL, INS, and all our personal information. He had already started all the paperwork to close the deal that night. Oh, btw, there was no financing or trade-in. This was going to be a cash deal. We got to the dealership at 9:00AM on Saturday. The sales man did not greet us,did not say good morning, did not even offer us a cup of coffee. He took us to an enclosed office, and proceeded to make us wait, while they carried on a 15 minute sales meeting in the showroom. Once the sales meeting was over, no one even came back to check on us or let us know what was going on. Other customers were walking in to the showroom as the meeting was in progress, and sales associates met them as they were walking in, and left the meeting to meet and greet them. Why were we pushed into a glass office and made to wait ? We got up and walked out of the office, after waiting 20 minutes. As we we were walking out of the showroom, I spoke to the sales person and told him we were leaving. He said he was looking for the paperwork. If you knew that some one was coming back in the next day to buy a car , why would you misplace the paperwork from the previous night ? IMO the sales person was upset with us, because we left the night before, after he had already committed to his management the van was sold. I am sure if we would of stayed that we would of had to renegotiate the price of the car. The dealership does not seem interested in customer service or customer satisfaction. All they are concerned about is getting your money. They make you wait at every step of the process. If you buy a car from them, be prepared to spend all day making the deal. They are slow, and very inefficient. Supposedly, the sales associate had been selling cars for 25 years. He needed to learn a thing or two about customer service. More
I am a 25 year old female relatively new to the car buying process. I am a college graduate and consider myself very successful for my age and excited about buying my first car! I first came to thi buying process. I am a college graduate and consider myself very successful for my age and excited about buying my first car! I first came to this dealership to test drive a Camry, I went by myself and had a pretty good experience. I ended up not liking the Camry and decided to test drive a Corolla. I came back to the dealership a few months later to test try the Corolla...I met a great sales representative who was very helpful and made me feel very comfortable. I decided I did not like the Corolla...way too small! This is when they introduced me to the Scion TC. I then came back to the dealership a few weeks later to test drive the Scion TC and discuss financing and figures because I loved it!!! I am a market researcher as a profession and know how to research and prepare for a meeting like this. I brought with me some USAA figures of Scion TCs that were only $300 cheaper than what they were asking for. Now I understand the Scion TC price and how it is pretty much non negotiable and set by Scion themselves. I just wanted to see what they would say or how they would react. The sales manager was very rude and extremely belittling to me. He argued with me the price is non negotiable and it is what it is. He decided to get up and walk away very abruptly. I left feeling very disappointed and very upset. About 20 mins later they called me back to apologize and offer me a "college discount" which is a $400 discount if I can prove I graduated from college. I then went on the internet to see other Scion dealerships and found that it is normal right now...if you buy a new Scion TC you will receive a $400 refund. It is such a game do your research! More
