Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville responded

It is true that we as a dealership rarely have to make the determination not to sell a vehicle to a customer. Only under the most extraordinary of circumstances does this ever occur. This was one of those incidents where it was made crystal clear to us, by the extreme and belligerent behavior of the customer, that there was nothing we could do that would result in a satisfied customer, before, during, or after the sale. After multiple visits to the dealership, it is absolutely untrue that the customer did not know the destination would be added back to the sale price. It was addressed over the phone, in person and long before he made it to our business office to complete the final paperwork. The customer came in on our advertised internet prices. Every website that our vehicles appear on, have a disclaimer, which more than clearly state that our advertised internet prices do not include your state taxes, tags, destination, or $200 processing fee. If our memory serves correctly, the Suburban that was previously purchased from us was also found online and with the exact same disclaimers that are present today. After days of run around and constant struggle back and forth with the customer, another incident arose that helped us come to the decision that it was best for both parties if we parted ways. The only one that was enraged was the customer who was not getting his way. At that time, the customer did not seem to mind using unflattering, offensive, and inappropriate language in front of his young daughter. It was not very becoming behavior of an officer of the law. Although we try, unfortunately not everyone can be made happy.
