Very friendly environment made the dealing stress free and without any pressure. I expected better price for the trade-in,but overall experience was very pleasant. It was easy for me more because I had al and without any pressure. I expected better price for the trade-in,but overall experience was very pleasant. It was easy for me more because I had already decided on the make and the model of the car I wanted, so only thing I had to decide was which dealership. I am glad that I had decided on Open Road Acura. More
I had recently visited the dealer ship after many emails threw Cally leading me there . I had asked multiple times to not waste my time to give me a ruff estimate, she never provided so my husband , I & my threw Cally leading me there . I had asked multiple times to not waste my time to give me a ruff estimate, she never provided so my husband , I & my 3 children decided to take a ride and get a price from them. After going out of my way to go there & walked into a vet in welcomed environment and attacked by 3 different people being Cally, another sales woman and Steve a manager which totally arrogant and rude. Totally against us trading and payments was ridiculous . I was very upset and sick over how this experience was. I would never recommend them or go back. They led me on& lied. I have leased many cars & a mercedes which was unbelievable experience. I will go back there where I was happy 100% More
My purchase of a 2012 TL was the best car buying experience of my life!I was almost killed in an accident with the 2008TL that I leased from Open Road in September of 2010 and was only recently clea experience of my life!I was almost killed in an accident with the 2008TL that I leased from Open Road in September of 2010 and was only recently cleared to drive again. I do believe that the car and the power of prayer saved my life! I must say that Geno was very understanding, kind and knowledgeable. He made my decision easy and his reassurance was very much appreciated.I love my new car even more than I did the 2008. It was Geno's thoughtfulness and encouragement that made it all so easy to do again.I would recommend your dealership to anyone! I am so grateful that Geno was just great! More
dealership was excellent from my initial question through internet to sale. Miles better than bridgewater acura who were awful. Tarak- great salesman and looked at whole offer including my trade in. I was impressed by the overall sales room, the promptness of a salesman meeting me at the door and asking how could he help me. He quickly asked what I was interessted in ans showed it to me ON THE FLOOR, no of a salesman meeting me at the door and asking how could he help me. He quickly asked what I was interessted in ans showed it to me ON THE FLOOR, not outside. Finance ansered all my questions. Good Planning, good service, resulted in a sale. More
Bought a used BMW over the phone and I have to tell you, if you are even one bit worried about buying a car that is not right next to your house, Open Road Acura is the place to go. I spoke with Bill over if you are even one bit worried about buying a car that is not right next to your house, Open Road Acura is the place to go. I spoke with Bill over the phone several times and I was struck by his honesty and the fact that he was so direct and accurate about all the facts I wanted to know. He never once tried to sell me, he was genuinely interested with my satisfaction. His communication was always accurate and his return calls were always timely. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership I could tell that they were operating as a team. Everyone we interacted with was very knowledgeable and friendly and you could tell that they enjoyed working there. It was looking for a specific color in my car and I found everything I was looking for at Open road. Fantastic price, a car that is 100% in tip top shape, a dealership that is supportive before during and after the sale and never once did I have a concern with the honesty of the dealership. Buying a car over the internet/phone can conjure up concern of the risks or am I making a mistake but it is a dealership like open road that puts trust in car dealerships. I bought the car in 1 night the sales person and manager were great. I felt as though we did not have to "haggle" to reach a price, everything was pretty straight forward. Starting from the day 1, the person who set up the schedule to meet with the sales and all the way up to the Finance manager who did the paper work, every aspect of it was very professional, courteous schedule to meet with the sales and all the way up to the Finance manager who did the paper work, every aspect of it was very professional, courteous and well orchestrated. Kudos to Michael Messina who did a wonderful job of completing the sale. It was very pleasant experience overall. Thanks to the team. More

I did not have a good experience at Open Road Acura of East Brunswick. At first, Charlie and everyone else encountered were very nice. After I purchased the car and went back for floor mats etc. I was t East Brunswick. At first, Charlie and everyone else encountered were very nice. After I purchased the car and went back for floor mats etc. I was treated as though I didn't exist. I made an appointment to pick up the floor mats. I don't know why I had to go there to do this but I figured it was procedure. I do not live near East Brunswick. I left work early to make it to the 6:30pm appointment. Charlie was no where to be found. The sales manager, Steve I think his name is, acted as though he'd never seen me before and said, "Charlie is with a client" while walking past me and not even stopping. I sat next to Steve for four hours the weekend before; he paid no attention to me. I then proceeded to wait about 45 minutes for someone to try and help me. The floor mats were behind Charlie's desk which apparantley no one else knew or could help me with. Once Charlie returned from his test drive, I expected him to come right out to help me or at least send someone else out. This did not happen and I left VERY annoyed. The mats were then shipped to my house. So why did I have to drive to the dealership in the first place?! Another incident was my license plates. The temp plate expired March 13th. By March 11th, I still had not received a call saying the plates were in. I called the dealership and the receptionist aske me, "When do you temps expire?" I replied "March 13th which is this Monday coming up." To which she then VERY nastily replied, "Actually, it's Sunday, March 13th is this Sunday." She then put me on hold, came back and stated that I had been called on Febuary 22nd and left a message that the plates were in. I did NOT receive a call OR a message; I am 100% positive. She then very nastily again told me I could come pick them up. I went to pick the plates up and was told I could get someone to put them on if I could manage to "flag down the valet." I didn't feel like being made a fool out of again so I did no such thing; my husband put them on himself. Also, this was my first time buying a certified pre-owned (or used of any kind) car. Charlie knew this and stil he never mentioned to me, nor did anyone else that I would have to take the car to inspection!!! I received a little pink card with my plates stating I needed to take the car to inspection within 10 days of the date on the card (the date was February 20th and it was now March 12th). So I had to race to inspection, wait in a REALLY long line then go over to the garage and BEG them for a sticker since it was 12:01 PM on a Saturday. I honestly feel like as soon as I bought the car, I was garbage, they had my money so I wasn't worth anything to anyone at Open Road Acura. I also felt a little discriminated against being a young woman. I felt that if I was a man that had spent more money or whatever, that I would have been treated with much more respect. I didn't like my first experience with Open Road Acura two years ago when I leased a new TSX. I worked with Matteo that time and I found him to be very short tempered and not nice at all. I went back this time hoping for a better experience and I did not get that at all. I will never, EVER buy another car from Open Road Acura again; honestly, I don't even want to buy another Acura. I received better service when purchasing my Hondas. I work at a huge, HUGE company where I work in International HR/Relocation. I refer hundreds of people to area car dealerships and I will never refer anyone to Open Road or any other Acura dealership for that matter. I'm really very very disappointed with my experience. Update 9/20/2011 I would just like to provide an update. I was promised a free oil change months ago when this bad experience first happend. Now the manger is telling me that since I refused to take my negative review off dealer rater that I will not get the oil change. I guess Open Road Acura of East Brunswick was trying to bribe me and I didn't realize it. More
