I liked the no back and forth pricing game. Spoke with the salesman and then the Sales Manager directly and came to an agreement in a matter of minutes. I went to ODCJ to look at used cars. The salesman, Jerry Lee Darnell, was very helpful in showing me all the used cars they had meeting my criteria. Then he informed me of a sale they had going on with they New 2012 car that fit my needs. Originally not wanting to buy a 'New' car, I told him I would think about it and went home. He was very helpful but not pushy or aggressive at all. He was more concerned that I would be happy with my choice. A few days later he called me to let me know they had dropped the price again on the 'New' car, but again not pushing... just notifying. In the end, I ended up purchasing the 'New' car from ODCJ and couldn't be happier....especially with the salesman - Jerry Lee Darnell. More
After having a very helpful sales person Greg, we started discussing terms on purchasing a preowned Jeep Wrangler. After negotiating the terms of our trade in we met the "Sales Manager" Troy. He explained to us that he could not offer more on our trade since it had 90,000 miles on it an no banks would "Loan" on a car with that many miles. Having several years in auto finance with both franchise and independent dealerships I knew this to be a less than truthful. After asking Troy why he would shake my hand, look me in the eye and tell me something that was incorrect, he threw the paperwork with our information at our saleperson and said "we're finished here". Needless to say we will take our business to one of many other jeep dealerships in the Metro area. If he treats his sales people and more importantly his customers in this manner. I would recommend finding a dealership that respects their customers and their staff. Had i not been an educated consumer i would have taken his story about loan valuation at face valued and been misled and potentially been out over $2000 on the actual value of my trade in. Beware of this dealership. More

I had a great overall experience. If someone could shorten the time it takes to do the paperwork that would be a plus! I chose to do business with Olathe Dodge because they flat out offered a better deal than nearby competitors. I ended up with a better equipped vehicle for the same price that others were offering.
