I can’t say anything about the dealership but I can assure you if you go there ask for Wilfredo. He got us in and out effortlessly. Ocean Honda of Whittier: An Absolute Disaster I gave one star only because I could not complete the survey with zero stars. This is the worst service experience I've ever had, and I can't believe I’m one star only because I could not complete the survey with zero stars. This is the worst service experience I've ever had, and I can't believe I’m even having to write this, but since they asked for a review, here it is. My Honda Accord has been nothing but a headache since I bought it, and every time I took it to Ocean Honda of Whittier for service, it was a new excuse, a new lie, and more wasted time. The car’s lights all came on multiple times, dropping my speed to 5 mph, and every time I brought it in, they gave me the runaround. Finally, after multiple visits and what felt like a hundred excuses, they admitted the engine block and two heads (which they had already replaced once!) were bad. But that’s where the real nightmare started. It took seven months to get my car back—seven! I was without a loaner vehicle for the first two months, even though I asked repeatedly. When they finally gave me one, they made me come back to the dealership every single month to check in on it. That’s how I know how terrible their service is: every single time I was there, I overheard other customers complaining too. My so-called “service advisor,” I was going to add his name, I guess I won’t but he sits at the first desk near the glass wall, never had a clue what was going on. First, he told me it was just one head that needed replacing. Then, magically, it was two. Then the story changed again—now it was the engine. Then it was both heads and the engine. Every single month, I was promised the car would be ready “next month,” and every single month, that promise was broken. One month, I was told they had confirmation the parts would arrive; they didn’t. The next month, the same lie. I couldn’t even tell if he was embarrassed, incompetent, or just plain lying to my face. When they finally claimed the parts had arrived, they told me the car would be ready soon. But of course, only the heads came in—not the engine. And I was left wondering how a service advisor at a Honda dealership doesn’t know the difference between heads and an engine. When I asked why they weren’t shipping the parts assembled, especially since they had already screwed up the first replacement, I got more excuses. But the cherry on top? When I finally got my car back after seven months, I discovered that they had left my vehicle sitting outside in the sun, rain, and other SoCal weather with the windows down! Their “brilliant” solution? Taping black plastic bags over the windows, which of course had holes in them after being exposed for so long. My car’s interior was filthy, the exterior had visible tape lines, and the whole thing was a disaster. This, after my service advisor had the nerve to tell me the car had been “detailed.” Are you kidding me?! I’m beyond livid. My car was always kept in an underground garage at work and in my home garage—how could they treat my vehicle with such disregard? After all of this, I’m done with Ocean Honda of Whittier. We bought a Honda because of the reputation for quality, but this dealership has single-handedly destroyed any faith I had in the brand. I don't want to keep this car anymore, and I wouldn’t trust this dealership with a tricycle, let alone a car. Avoid Ocean Honda of Whittier at all costs. They are incompetent, dishonest, and have no respect for their customers or their vehicles. More

Waste of time. Made an appointment for a recall fix. Took my car at 9am, and promised to be fixed by 3pm. I called a few times during the day to check on the car. Waited until almost 4pm to call and check on the car. Called multiple times with no answer. Took over 4 minutes before they answered. Got put on hold and came back to tell me they do not have the part to fix my car. A complete day wasted and inconveniences for me with no vehicle. More
