I contacted dealer about a new Kia through the internet. On 2/11/2012 I got an email back asking me which one I liked. I answered back the same day but never got another email from the dealer. Call internet. On 2/11/2012 I got an email back asking me which one I liked. I answered back the same day but never got another email from the dealer. Called and never could get anyone to call me back. When I called the 3rd time I told the woman that answered the phone about the indifference and she said she would have someone call me right away. Never did get that call.My husband stopped by the dealership and had the same bad experience. We purchased a new car from another dealer. More
Best experience in purchasing a car. Highly recommend working with Richard Ogden he'll take care of you. NO! NO! NO! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE DEPT. This is the type of place you see on news reports about bad repair shops. In the space of about 2 months I took my car & jeep to this repair shop. *Tire ro type of place you see on news reports about bad repair shops. In the space of about 2 months I took my car & jeep to this repair shop. *Tire rotations on both vehicles - they left the front tire on my car so loose that it began vibrating. I had to stop & tighten it on the side of the freeway, at night in a cold November rainstorm. That's not all, it ruined my brake caliper and I had to buy a new one. Best of all, when i took the car back to the shop to have them check it to make sure it was on correctly & the weight in place, the charged me for it!!! They did me only somewhat better on the Jeep. They shattered half of my lug nuts and put on cheap ugly ones to replace them. Didn't say a word about it or offer compensation. Other issues: *Took my car in for detailing, they lost a car mat. Did they say anything or pay for a replacement? Of course not! *Took my jeep in to have a tire replaced and the axle seals were mysteriously leaking when I picked it up. *They put transmission fluid in my power steering fluid - which ruined it. Think they took responsibility for that? Nope. Had to replace my power steering pump too. All this happened within the space of about 2 1/2 months. More
I purchased a 2007 Dodge Dakota form Jack Miller Kia. Oh was I in for a time. Previously had a 5.5% interest on my old car, which I just about owed nothing on. My car was worth about $6000.00 They gave me was I in for a time. Previously had a 5.5% interest on my old car, which I just about owed nothing on. My car was worth about $6000.00 They gave me $2500.00 They told me I had to add a warantee or the bank would not finance the loan on my 2007, come to find out the warantee was through them. Which made them an extra $2000 They stuck me with a 17% loan for 6 years... If I would not have traded my truck 16 Months later and got out of this loan, I would have wound up paying $35000 for a 17,000 truck To top it all off, The truck had faulty sturts on it when I purchased it, and when I took it back within 3 days, they would not fix them, which cost me another $800.00 Call me Stupid I guess... After deciding upon Jack Miller Kia for our 2nd Kia purchase within a year, I will have to say after this last experience, it will be our last. The overall sales process was pretty much uneventful, bu purchase within a year, I will have to say after this last experience, it will be our last. The overall sales process was pretty much uneventful, but what soon followed wasn't. We found out "after" the fact that we were not eligable for the 500.00 loyality rebate, even though we purchased a Kia 14 months ago. This was due in fact to the registration on the 1st vehicle being in my husbands name (I was out of town when he purchased, so his name was the only one on it). I then went to purchase my Kia, (my husband was out of town), so my name was the only one on the registration..Apparently Kia doesn't honor Loyality Rebates even if purchased in the same household by a married couple. That being said, I did provide them the documentation on the registration and 3 days later I get a call stating they want their 500.00 because we don't qualify. When I asked if we could have my husband's name added to the loan, they said "too late" I explained that they should have done their due diligence as well. 7 days later we get a "certified" letter threatening legal action. I made 2 calls to the General Manager, 3 calls to Ted (Sales Manager) and not even the common curtousey to call me back. I can tell you from experience that being in a service based industry, most people will tell you that "customer Service" is the most important factor and will bring them back again. Jack Miller needs to evaluate his Management staff because we will NEVER EVER buy another Kia or any other vehicle from them again. They were practically stalking us when we were still in the decision mode and after the purchase they played Ostrich when I needed to speak to management. I will be filing a claim with the BBB as well. STAY AWAY from JACK MILLER KIA...Shady! One the first Kia we purchased last year, they had issues as well. They contacted us for 6 months and threatened us with action because they said we had the title, which we didn't. When they found out the problem was on their end, not so much as an apology. More
I have been to Jack Miller a few times first to buy a pre-owned sportage, then later a Forte Koup. Salesman were of course nice but they have to be in order to make a sale. However, they were not pushy o pre-owned sportage, then later a Forte Koup. Salesman were of course nice but they have to be in order to make a sale. However, they were not pushy or sticklers. I did have a problem with the fiance department for the same reason another commentor did. Overall it was an ok expereince to work/deal with them. More
I purchased 2010 Optima from Jack Miller, I paid the car off early because i wanted to upgrade to the new 2011 Optima. I requested a refund of the remaining portion of my Gap insurance to put down as a doen off early because i wanted to upgrade to the new 2011 Optima. I requested a refund of the remaining portion of my Gap insurance to put down as a doen payment. It's been 13 weeks now and all i get are excuses. The person in charge of handeling this issue has never call to give me an update. i must do all of the follow-up or they will never call you. I just recomended a KIA to a co-worker who is looking for a new car. Because of my experiance with Jack Miller, they will be going to a diffrent dealer. I work in lagistics and see and meet a lot of people every day, i will never recomend Jack Miller Kia to anyone. When i finally do get my refund, i'm going to try Shanee Mission Kia for all future buisness. More
About 2 weeks ago I started emailing Richard Ogden at Jack Miller Kia about a new Kia Soul. I was really only looking for a 2011 not thinking that the 2012 model would be coming out soon so he told me if Jack Miller Kia about a new Kia Soul. I was really only looking for a 2011 not thinking that the 2012 model would be coming out soon so he told me if I was willing to wait he would be able to get a 2012 model. I had a terrible experience at Olathe Kia and Shawnee Mission Kia did not really seem like they wanted my business at all. After emailing back and forth making sure I was going to get everything I wanted in the car the search was on. So I waited and in a few days he found one for me that was exactly what I wanted, the right price, color, automatic, and even more features than I was expecting. I went to pick it up last night and I could have not been more happy with my experience. Richard was very helpful with explaining all the features and answering all my questions and he seemed genuinely happy for me. The whole process was less than an hour too! I live in Olathe and it was over a 30 minute drive to get there, but I promise the drive is worth it! I would recommend anyone to Jack Miller Kia, and especially Richard Ogden! -Tabitha More
The most horrible experience of all. Purchased a new Kia Sedona in Jan 2011. Everything was going just fine love the car, went to use the outside heated mirrors and they would not work, took the car back to Sedona in Jan 2011. Everything was going just fine love the car, went to use the outside heated mirrors and they would not work, took the car back to the dealer and the car did not have heated mirrors even though the sticker said that it did. Have been going back and forth between dealer and Kia and neither will do anything about it. Kia said they sent letters to the dealers for them to change the stickers but Jack Miller did not do that or tell us that the stickers were misprinted before we purchased the car. Kia has offered us 1 year or Sirius radio mirrors cost almost $500 for the pair and that's not installed. General manager said his Kia rep was supposed to call never did. Today when I spoke to the general manager he hung up on me when I told him I filed a complaint with the Missouri Att. General. This was the second vehicle we purchased from Jack Miller should have known better, first time didn't go good either, purchased a truck, they lost one of the key fobs said they would get us another one never did, had put a brand new bed liner in the bed of the truck that hid the fact that it had a gooseneck hitch in the back of the bed and had been used as a tow vehicle for a construction company. If you do go to this dealer YOU ARE STUPID!!!!! More
ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!! The saleswoman was nice, but I've NEVER experienced such bad service from a finance department in my life! They told me I'd need a co-signer to get a car, but refused to let me I've NEVER experienced such bad service from a finance department in my life! They told me I'd need a co-signer to get a car, but refused to let me know what my credit rating was or if I qualified for any deals. I reluctantly had my Dad go in there and sign up as a co-signer, and they told us that together we didn't qualify for any loan. They then said what we should do is have my Dad buy the car only under his name, but let me drive it. I said, "No, I want my name on the title and I want to know what amount we were approved for." They told me they didn't have to show me any numbers or loan amounts and that I needed to sign a paper saying I will buy a car from them before they continue spending more time working a deal for me. I told them No and then Cameron the finance xxxxxx said, "Well then I guess there's nothing we can do for you, goodbye." They refused to work with me AT ALL on a deal and I will NEVER go back there. Also, I went to Shawnee Mission Kia the next day, got approved and drove off in my new 2011 Kia Optima! No hassle, no problems at all from them. More
