Not pleased with last visit. Serviceman did not make himself available to show me his findings in which my car was stated as unsafe to drive . My car was removed from the rack and driven outside. The initial reason for the visit was resolved. I was told a loose gas cap caused sensor lights to engage.However his reason for subjecting my vehicle to being hoisted in the air is unclear. I was told serious undercarriage rust caused the service man not to be able to complete his examination. I am not happy that my car is deemed a rust hazard. I have been getting service at Oaklawn Toyota for years and it is incumbent that service inform customers of potential dangers the product may cause. Be it the production of vehicle or upkeep/service customers should be warned. I have purchased several vehicles from Oak Lawn Toyota. I will continue with this matter. One of the worst customer service experience Brought my car in for maintenance the first and for a recall that took over 6 hours The second time when maintenance was due again I was there for over 7 hours car in for maintenance the first and for a recall that took over 6 hours The second time when maintenance was due again I was there for over 7 hours before anyone told me the status of my car all the service advisor were simple walking by me and they never once in 7 hours that I had been waiting for my asked if they can help me only Lauren came to my aid. Carlos my original advisor was rude and uninformative never once advice me of the status of my car but was sure I caused the issue with my car and kept telling me am going to be paying for the repairs. The next day he simple refused to answer my phone calls asking for an update on my car so I resorted to asking for Lauren who always answered my phone calls and was immensely helpful. Brian the porter accosted and blocked my way from going into the service manager Juan since I was not getting any help from the rest of the service advisors and I didn't see Lauren. Brian got into an argument with me saying it's part of his job to stop people from going into the Manager's office even though the office door is wide open.. Carlos lied to me after he told me to come and get a loaner car because now my wasn't going to be fixed for another 8 days. When I got there for the loaner car Carlos asked for my auto insurance that I will have to pay for a rental car from a rental company at a different location. I asked for the service manager Juan for clarification but Brian and Juan told me that Oak Lawn Toyota policy's does not provide loaner car that I will have to get a rental car on my own. I am appalled, insulted, provoked , and could not believe I was treated at Oak Lawn Toyota employees. Technician simple ingnored that I was waiting for over 7 hours he was more concerned about going home at 4 pm instead give me plain information and that's because I went and asked him Just asking for conversation.
