Sorry to put a bad review for this place where I had a great experience previously working with Lisa Turenne, but the 'caseless' attitude from the girl that meets you at the door till the one that takes c great experience previously working with Lisa Turenne, but the 'caseless' attitude from the girl that meets you at the door till the one that takes care of your paperwork hit me. I brought my car with an engine light on around noon. I was waiting for someone to call me back and tell me the issue and the way to fix it, but nothing until I called myself at 5pm. The response was 'oh, didn't I sent you the text?' and 'our technicians are gone for the day'! Young lady: we bring the car to the dealership, because we expect a fast and excellent service for money that we pay! You may have the best mechanics in the world, but I guess the place need to have some customer service personnel that knows how to help people and make them feel welcomed. More
Absolutely wonderful experience and service with purchasing my first Volkswagen from this dealership. Every staff member was kind and accommodating to all my needs. They had the exact car I had bee purchasing my first Volkswagen from this dealership. Every staff member was kind and accommodating to all my needs. They had the exact car I had been searching for at an extremely fair price. I put the deposit down on the car and was able to finalize the sale and drive away with my car two days later! The best part of this purchase was the chance to work with THE David Atoui. He made this process so enjoyable and easy. He went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and time of availability seeing as I don’t live close to the dealership. THE David Atoui made sure everything was finalized and the car was ready to drive off the lot on the exact day and earlier than expected. In my opinion, THE David Atoui deserves more than a raise, he needs to go to the TOP! THE David Atoui made sure ALL the bird dust was off of the vehicle and the car looked beautiful inside and out when I picked it up. This has been the best car purchasing experience I’ve ever had. I now have my pure coconut water and I could not be happier with every aspect of this purchase and dealership. I would and will be recommending Volkswagen of Norwood to anyone and everyone I know. Thank you again for the exceptional service! But really, THE David Atoui. More
I wish I could give this place zero stars. We came in on a Thursday evening to look at a used car on the lot. We test drove the car and liked it, but noticed a check engine light that the salesman had not m a Thursday evening to look at a used car on the lot. We test drove the car and liked it, but noticed a check engine light that the salesman had not mentioned. He had no idea about the light but assured us it would be taken care of pending our approval. We put a deposit down on the car that night. THREE. WEEKS. LATER. We had not heard one word from Volkswagen of Norwood about the status of the car, not even WHY it had a check engine light. My husband had to call almost every other day just to see what was going on. We were given the run-around every single time, especially by the service manager, who flat-out told us he didn't care about our situation. I didn't mind the check engine light but to wait three weeks without any information whatsoever? WHILE they were holding $500 of our money? No thanks. The entire ordeal was entirely unprofessional, which is disappointing because we had such high hopes for this dealership. I will never be returning to use their services and unfortunately cannot ever recommend them. More
David Atoui was wonderful to work with, polite, informative, no sales gimmicks, just good advisor, listened to what I was looking for and what my limits were and worked with me. I literally don't have the time or energy to tell the whole story. Bad service, weak follow through on promises, sales and service departments totally disconnected, poor communications. I'll NEVER go bac whole story. Bad service, weak follow through on promises, sales and service departments totally disconnected, poor communications. I'll NEVER go back to a Prime dealership. Here is my initial letter to VW of America after Prime refused my claim: "My DPF light come on last week, so I took my 2014 JSW TDI to a dealership where I was told there was a P1950 fault for blocked refused my claim: "My DPF light come on last week, so I took my 2014 JSW TDI to a dealership where I was told there was a P1950 fault for blocked or faulty cooling fans and a P1A58 for nox cat regen required, and the fans would have to be replaced in order for a regen to complete which would clear both codes. I assumed the work would be covered under the extended emissions warranty, where it states the parts covered are, "the OBD system, any malfunctions detected by the OBD system other than those related to the transmission." The wording seems fairly cut and dry; the coolant fans caused the P1950 which caused the nox regen to fail which caused the P1A58, so the fans would be covered. Prime Volkswagen Norwood refused to cover the repairs under warranty, stating that the cooling fans are not on the list of approved parts that VW Corporate provides. This didn't make sense to me, as it contradicts what the extended warranty expressly states. Even supposing the fans aren't covered under the OBD clause, it seems they would then be covered under the clause, "the entire exhaust gas after treatment system." If the fans are necessary for nox regen, aren't they an integral part of the exhaust gas after-treatment system? From the point of view of anyone who reads the extended emissions warranty and has any mechanical knowledge the cooling fans are covered by 2 clauses, so I am having a very difficult time understanding the dealership's decision." From scouring TDI forums, it seems as if VW regularly denies dieselgate warranty claims. It is sad, and a little disgusting, that a multi billion dollar company has to lie to get out of covering a warranty claim they themselves caused by... lying. This was my first VW, I will never buy a VW again, and I will do my absolute best to make sure everyone close to me knows that VW will lie to get out of paying a valid warranty claim. More
James put together an extremely fair deal on our second VW Tiguan (our 5th VW overall) that my husband and I couldn't refuse. He was both proactive and responsive along the way. While we waited to finali VW Tiguan (our 5th VW overall) that my husband and I couldn't refuse. He was both proactive and responsive along the way. While we waited to finalize everything with the business manager, we also had the pleasure of speaking with a female sales associate (I wish I remembered her name) about the new VW ID4. She was lovely to talk to and very knowledgeable. Finally, when I returned to the dealership for my inspection, everyone with whom I interacted in the service department were personable and helpful. Thank you Prime VW! More
