The rating is 2. I brought in my 2016 Volt on May 4 because the check engine light was on. What I didn't know was that there was no EV tech in that day. I had waited all day for a call and then I finally called Tim at about 4:30. He said that my car had not been seen that day because of the lack of a technician. He promised to let me know the following morning if a technician was in, but didn't do so. The problem turned out to be that a mouse had chewed the fuel injection harness. This is an issue that anyone could have diagnosed and fixed, regardless of EV training. I am very disappointed in the lack of communication and the casual attitude regarding service of my car. More
I am very disappointed with my experience at Nucar Dealer. Exactly one week after having an oil change done there, my engine belt shredded to pieces. I expect a dealership service department not only to perform basic maintenance, but also to inspect the vehicle properly and help prevent problems before they happen. A worn or damaged belt should have been detected by the technician, either by the visible condition of the belt or by the noise it was making. This situation could have caused a much bigger issue, and it raises concerns about the quality of the inspection performed during my visit. I trusted the dealership to properly look over my vehicle, and unfortunately that trust was not met. More
