I am a very reasonable person. I compliment when someone does well for me and offer constructive feedback when I think someone can do a little better. I provide opportunities for service providers to corre does well for me and offer constructive feedback when I think someone can do a little better. I provide opportunities for service providers to correct before I make final commentary, as initial commentary can be destructive to those who are really trying. I do not rant or rave just to hear myself berate as there is already enough of that in our lives. But, here is one I feel I must express to assist others from making the same mistake I did. I bought a used car online from Northeast Auto Gallery in Cleveland, Ohio. I had numerous conversations with the salespeople and the person responsible for concluding the transaction. I was told that the car had been through and passed a 150 point inspection and that it was a great, clean car. They TOLD me that all fluids had been checked and changed. Brakes were in great condition. They made me feel as though they knew what they were talking about and that I was getting a decent used car in decent condition. I paid their full asking price, did not even negotiate. They delivered the car to me. This is when the truth really came to light. The car that was delivered to me was in need of a serious service and maintenance, so I sent it off to my local specialty repair shop. I asked them to do a full assessment of the vehicle (Report is attached or listed below) The report that they provided indicated some very serious issues that were critical to the safety short and long term viability of the car. No fluids had been checked or changed. Brakes were worn to the limits and a need to buy a $1,000 ride level module as the one in the car had failed completely. Noting they told me about the car was true. The condition was seriously flawed, and it needed significant repairs and maintenance to bring the car back to the condition that was represented to me by Northeast Auto Gallery. Total cost of repairs, $4,100 to bring vehicle to sold as condition. I called them, I emailed them in an attempt to resolve my issues. Their only comments were that “You bought a used car, what did you expect?” Can’t let this one slide. I have been seriously ripped off by a bunch of con artists.
