Many auto dealerships claim to be friendly and hassle-free, but most fall short of that goal. I was much impressed with North End Subaru - not just because of the ease of price negotiation (which hassle-free, but most fall short of that goal. I was much impressed with North End Subaru - not just because of the ease of price negotiation (which was agreed to over the phone in 5 minutes!) but by the genuinely friendly and helpful support I received both during and after my car purchase. Mike and Frank in Sales were both very informative and knowledgeable, which was certainly much appreciated. The manager, Marty, quickly stepped right up when a (very minor) issue arose regarding the options provided with my new car - Marty was right on top of it, and really made me feel like a valued customer by ensuring that the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I can't speak to their service department yet, but as the owner of 3 other Subarus, I am hoping to start using North End Subaru as my primary go-to service location as well - hopefully they are as good as the sales and management team! - John from Mason, NH More

I am very happy with the whole process of purchasing my second Subaru at North End. Frank Lajoie was wonderful. His knowledge of Subaru is very impressive. He made sure to answer all my questions. The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful. I went on a Saturday without an appointment and found a car I was interested in. I went inside to find a salesman and was greeted by Michael. He pulled the car up and let me get inside to check it out then we took it for a ride. While on the test drive Michael was very knowledgeable of the car and it's features. He was able to show me the car fax and tell me about the previous owner. When we got back to the dealership we signed all the paperwork for the car with Michael and the finance stuff with Jason. Paperwork was very quick. They were able to give me a fair amount for my trade in. I came back on Monday to sign the final paperwork and pick up the car. I was out of there in about a half hour. When I got the car it had been detailed and the gas was filled up. I can't recommend this dealership and thank Michael and Jason enough. I will definitely go back again when it's time. More
I came up from southern Rhode Island to look at an elusive stick-shift Honda Element they had for sale on their clearance lot. The amount of work invested in this vehicle to make it ready for sale was very impressive, considering Northend doesn't even sell new Hondas. It was fully detailed, and even had a new set of all-season tires! Joe is a no-pressure salesman, and did everything in his power to accommodate me through my first solo car-buying experience. I was able to test drive it as long I liked, which isn't always an option since most other used cars have the gas light on before you can even pull out of the lot. The asking price was more than reasonable, but I did have one concern: That the missing rear headrests would make it difficult to have the car pass inspection, and would cost me a limb or two to replace. Joe gave me his word that he'd locate the originals, or if necessary, order me a new pair. Sure enough, a new pair arrived at my doorstep a week after closing the sale. Buying from Northend is well worth a 2-hour drive, as their reputation for excellent customer service truly precedes them. In the end, I got the car I'd been searching for, in like-new condition, for $75 less than the original price. (It turns out the windshield had it small chip in it that went unnoticed when the Element was first examined by the dealership!) More
We were traveling far from home (Kansas). Since we were traveling to another state, we couldn't wait a few days for their first open appointment. Along the road through Massachusetts we drove past North End Subaru and we decided to ask them for help. As I approached the service desk, it was clear they were an active and busy group, but they fit us in. We waited in a very comfortable waiting area with free quality refreshments and free Wi-Fi. An hour later, they informed us that the wiring connector was damaged and they repaired it and secured it together, though the normal procedure would be to replace the wiring harness with a new seat track/motor assembly. The fee was free; an unexpected courtesy not usually extended to out of state travelers. We had expected a hefty bill. We walked out to our car to find it freshly washed; another added courtesy. If we didn't live 1500 miles away, we would be using this dealership for all our Subaru servicing. More
I have been taking my 2010 Impreza to North End for service since I bought it in September, 2009. I don't take it there because it's close ... I take it there because I am always treated with respec service since I bought it in September, 2009. I don't take it there because it's close ... The fact that the Service Department is staffed with factory-trained professionals makes me feel confident that my Subaru always is in good hands. More
I bought my first Subaru Forester in 2010 from Frank Lajoie at North End Subaru and had such a good experience and loved the vehicle so much I went back recently and bought the 2014 Subaru Forester fro Lajoie at North End Subaru and had such a good experience and loved the vehicle so much I went back recently and bought the 2014 Subaru Forester from Frank Lajoie at North End again I would recommend Frank and North End Subaru to my family and friends because of the wonderful experience I had there.
