Service was extraordinary, and my salesman, Rahman, was incredible. He was so knowledgeable, likeable, and I never once felt pressured to buy. It was a great experience! This is the worst dealership ever. I was told I was approved for financing on a used car. The day before going to get it salesperson calls and said that he can only get me approved for a new car and he has one picked out for me. I wasn't happy but the warrant on the new car sound good. So my daughter and I drove over 2 hours to the dealership. When we sat down with the salesperson, he walked off and a couple of minutes later came back and told me I had to double my down payment before he could do anything. Big disappointment in the salesperson SK.. More
I recently bought a brand new Outlander Sport from Arien Seamann and had a really good experience. I wasn't origianally looking for a new Mitsubishi, rather a used car, but Arien convinced me and I ended up liking the car and the deal. I chalk up the sale to the time he took with me and his creativity. I also dealt with Brandon, the sales manager, and he greeted me, assigned Arien promptly and even introduced me to the Service Deparment after the paperwork was done. Car shopping isn't really known to be fun, but I had a great experience. Thanks to the North Coast team. I look forward to coming back for my first oil change. I really like the car! More
I recently purchased a Mitsubishi Outlander from North Coast Mitsubishi in Akron, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! As a lifelong Toyota customer, I was initially hesi Coast Mitsubishi in Akron, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! As a lifelong Toyota customer, I was initially hesitant about making the switch to Mitsubishi. However, from the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that immediately put me at ease. The atmosphere at North Coast Mitsubishi was inviting, and the entire staff went above and beyond to ensure that my car-buying journey was nothing short of fantastic. My sales person, Nathan, in particular, deserves high praise. He took the time to understand my needs and preferences, patiently answering all of my questions and guiding me through the entire process with professionalism and expertise. His knowledge of the Mitsubishi lineup, especially the Outlander, was impressive, and he helped me find the perfect vehicle that checked off all of my boxes. What truly set North Coast Mitsubishi apart was their commitment to customer satisfaction. They provided me with a personalized experience tailored to my specific needs, making me feel valued and appreciated throughout the entire process. They were transparent about pricing and financing options, ensuring that I felt comfortable and confident with my purchase every step of the way. The 0% offer for 60 months made the deal even sweeter and that's what really converted me to Mitsubishi. Finding an offer like this on a non-EV is next to impossible and really impressed me. It's clear Mitsubishi wants to bring buyers to the brand and I hope more people decide to include them in their vehicle purchases searches. I couldn't be happier with my choice. Thanks to North Coast Mitsubishi, I've been converted from a Toyota loyalist to a proud Mitsubishi owner. Overall, I can't recommend North Coast Mitsubishi enough. Their dedication to excellence, combined with their friendly and knowledgeable staff, make them stand out. If you're in the market for a new vehicle, especially a Mitsubishi Outlander, I would absolutely stop by North Coast Akron and work with their team. The General Manager, Travis, also mentioned there is a 20-year, 200,000-mile warranty going into effect at this dealership, which is quite unique. More
I cosigned on a loan with my daughter in January 2024. This has been the worst car buying experience of my life. Between my little girl and I we have placed around 100 calls to them trying to get them to help with their mistakes. You get the run around, lied to, empty promises, and transfer/disconnects. I feel they tricked us because it says there is some damage to the car on carfax but they will not tell us what - like it is hidden. Next the brakes went out within a week and my daughters father and I shelled out another $579 to repair. The salesman spelled my dtr's name wrong while we were there. He crossed it off on the paperwork and not in the computer. We asked if this would be a problem later and he said no it would be fixed. A lie. We have been BEGGING for weeks for them to spell her name right so she could get another temp tag or plate. Runaround. The manager told me yesterday a promise that he would call me back and handle this himself. Another lie. We have been NOT called back over 20 times. Last night the man who messed up the paperwork told my daughter just to drive with expired tags - we have screenshots. "I am sorry I got busy again. You can drive, they are not pulling people over for this". Finally today I got the BMV to give us a temp tag even though the name and address is spelled wrong on the memorandam title and paperwork. We have been advised by the police and BMV to file a report with the attorney general. I missed work today and so did my daughter. She missed her best friends birthday. We both have high credit scores and stable income. This business is all too happy to take your money and then you realize later you've been duped. This is the worst car buying experience I've ever had. We are filing a report with the Attorney General, BBB, and anyone who will listen. Lily's father was one day away from calling his attorney to assist us. Basically - we got screwed by North Coast Mitsubishi of Akron. Arien was our salesman. All LIARS with no integrity of follow through for their customers. BEWARE! In business - if you want repeat business and word of mouth business you take care of people and fix your mistakes after taking their money. By yesterday they were hanging up on us - asking our name and then we'd be 'disconnected'. Julia and Lily. More
At first, things went ok. I inquired online about a used vehicle in stock and communicated with a sales rep to set up a time to look at the vehicle. Prior to coming in, I aske I inquired online about a used vehicle in stock and communicated with a sales rep to set up a time to look at the vehicle. Prior to coming in, I asked if there was a limit on personal checks. The rep responded that they don’t accept personal checks but I could pay with “cash, cashiers check, debit or credit”. I also asked for the out the door pricing including all taxes and fees prior to coming to the dealership. I arrived on the agreed upon date and time. Took the vehicle for a test drive while they looked ant our trade-in. I did notice that the detailing of the vehicle was subpar- dirty cup holders, didn’t vacuum crumbs out of the seat cracks. This is just pure laziness on the dealerships’ part for a $70k+ vehicle. After the test drive, the sales person gave us the financing application. I then said that I intended to purchase the vehicle outright. I did not ask for any adjustment to lower the out the door pricing previously provided. Emily, the finance person, was weirdly hostile towards me. She gave me the trade-in offer and then tossed paperwork at me while saying “The pricing provided to you was for financing only. We don’t do cash offers. We only do in-house financing. We don’t make the money off the vehicles”. That’s fine- I completely understand the business model they operate in. They add extra percentages onto the bank’s actual rate and get a kickback for arranging the loan. But to claim they don’t make any money from the pricing of the vehicle is disingenuous and ridiculous. Then the inquisition started about WHY I didn’t want to finance. They kept trying to pressure me into taking their in house financing and saying I could pay it off as soon as it went through without penalty. If I wanted to take financial and contractual advice from someone, it certainly isn’t going to be from this car dealership staff. Tired of the unnecessary rudeness and hostility unleashed by Emily, I left the dealership. They are entitled to running their business however they want but I am entitled to purchase in the manner I want as well. They should probably be upfront about not accepting cash or outside financing options as to not waste people’s time. Don’t waste your time or money at this place. I’m thankful that I avoided doing business here. Read the BBB complaints and you will find out what you need to about how they conduct themselves legally and morally. More
