Something doesn't sit right with me. After completing a Kelley Blue Book Online appraisal I was contacted by this dealership to come in and have my car appraised for purchase. My car is a 2011 Kia with only 62000 miles on it. that I purchased off of the lot and have never had any issues with. I drove to the dealership and after it was appraised miraculously my check engine light was on. I have never had my check engine light on in this car and have always had it well maintained, but it is quite interesting that as soon as the mechanic takes it in the back the light comes on and the offer comes back at a $1000 less than what the Kelly Bluebook online offer was. Notice I also have put in the various dings and scratches that were on the car and still the offer came in ridiculously less. When I brought this up to the salesman, he actually had the nerve to laugh at my concerns about how, as I have said, I have never had any issues with this car and all of the sudden the light has come on when in their care. He laughed. There is no wonder they cater to those who are in desperate need, fortunately I was not desperate. Of course my salesman was very nice in all other aspects, but that is what happens when they are trying to get over on you and take your money. More
