We own a fleet of Hondas. Two of them required the 100,000 mile timing belt / water pump preventive maintenance package within the last 6 months (a 2004 Accord and 2007 Accord). I have worked with 100,000 mile timing belt / water pump preventive maintenance package within the last 6 months (a 2004 Accord and 2007 Accord). I have worked with Brian McBroom for regular service visits recently, so I went to him for assistance with scheduling and handling these visits as well. I had to reschedule a couple of times for one of the vehicles - without hesitation, Thomas Suby stepped in to assist as Brian was unavailable. The 2007 Accord was also at the end of its warranty period. Brian's service team did a comprehensive evaluation of the vehicle to find anything that might require repair and might be a potential warranty issue. A front end suspension issue was found and also repaired at no cost due to warranty coverage. The Huggins Honda Service Department is strong on customer support and service, one of the primary reasons we continue to take all of our automobile needs and issues to them. More
OMG. This is by far the worst honda dealership I have EVER been to. DO NOT GO TO THEM, they will break something else on your car while "supposedly" trying to fix the problem you told them about. I went in for simple oil change, my car is in mint condition and they tell me I need a new transmission!?!?!?? More

The cold weather had apparently ended the life of the original battery and they were able to replace it and i was able to get on to work. I paid $480 of which $312 was for labor. I got an oil change and the regular vehicle inspection checklist. Not all of the items on the checklist were actually checked. My battery had to be replaced a w change and the regular vehicle inspection checklist. Not all of the items on the checklist were actually checked. My battery had to be replaced a week later, but they rated it as in the green. They were suppose to rotate my tires and they did not. I know this because my car was hit by another car the month before and I had just gotten it back from Mortiz Collison and they replaced the tire on the side that was hit. Mr. Williams said that Moritz did not do the job right and tried to get me to buy new tires. I said no and went back to Moritz, only to find out that I paid over $400 for work that was not done. They showed me the tires and they were in the same order Moritz showed me when they placed them before my visit to Huggins. On the inspection Huggins said I needed 4 tires, but I had just purchased new tires the month before, before my car was hit. The only tire that needed to be replaced because of the accident was replaced by Moritz. I will never go there again. When I asked the supervisor why it cost so much for labor he said it was because they service my car through the express lane where the labor cost more. Never again! More
I had a problem w/ my visor and needed an oil change and am new to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I looked at reviews and Huggins was the top rated dealer in the area. WIth that being said, they exceeded my e am new to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I looked at reviews and Huggins was the top rated dealer in the area. WIth that being said, they exceeded my expectations in every way! The staff (Mark and several others) were extremely friendly, and helped me fix my visor free of charge. Additionally, when changing the oil they pointed out that my wheel had a serious issue (large cut in it). Instead of charging me, they suggested I call the place where I got the tire from (Firestone) and have them fulfill their warranty. I am impressed that they didn't try and pressure me to buy a tire from them. As a result of this experience I will DEFINITELY be coming back for regular check-ups. I love these guys. More

I found a 2007 Honda Odyssey EXL with a 100K mile for sale, so I wanted to get it checked before purchasing. Of course, what is the best place to take it to? Thought to myself: Honda dealership! Well, sale, so I wanted to get it checked before purchasing. Of course, what is the best place to take it to? Thought to myself: Honda dealership! Well, BIG mistake! On Thursday July 14th 2011, I took the van to Huggins Honda dealership (Northeast ) and asked them to run a “pre buy inspection” on the van. They said it will cost $130 and it will take 3-4 hours. They assured me that they will test every single part of the car, inside out and write a thorough report on all problems and how much it will cost to fix them. Long story short, after I received the report and based on the fact that it was a positive one, except a mentioning of timing belt is due for replacement (which is expected). I went through and bought the van. As I was doing the inspection back in Dallas to register the van to my name, shortly after I paid off the price to the seller, the inspection mechanic yells out to me, and said “the van has a major dropping leaking of oil visible to the eye” I felt like I was hit by a truck! I could not believe my ears. He advised to immediately call the dealership back and tell them that they have overlooked that leakage, and they should claim responsibility. I called more than once and got on the phone long time, where all I heard was “We are sorry, but the van had no leakage!” I said it is there!, must’ve been there as I was told by the inspection mechanic, but they replied “there is no way our mechanic could have missed the leakage” I spoke to another manager by the name McHale, even though she was nice on the phone, but refused to admit any wrong doing or mistake on their behalf and was giving no solution. This leak is going to cost me about $1700.00 and if Honda had done their job properly, I would have backed off the deal or asked the seller to fix the leakage. I bought Van and paid so much money for it, mainly based on the report released by Huggins dealership, which has no mention of any oil leakage, and Huggins dealership would not claim any responsibility or provide any solution. The least I accepted from Huggins is to accept that they made a mistake, apologize and fix the problem, but they weren’t even willing to admit the mistake they commited. “Accidents become mistakes if we refuse to fix them” More
I recently took my 2004 honda civic to huggins for an oil change, but it turned out that the drain plug in my oil pan was stripped out and needed to be replaced. I had them do it and a short while later, I n change, but it turned out that the drain plug in my oil pan was stripped out and needed to be replaced. I had them do it and a short while later, I noticed an oil leak. I took the car back to them and they stated that my rear main oil seal was leaking. Skeptical, I sought out another opinion (a honda/acura specialist) and they said that it was highly unlikely that a car with 62K miles had a rear main oil seal leak, especially after getting the oil pan replaced recently. The specialist stated that he could count on one hand how many rear main oil seals that he has changed in 13 years. These were usually 92 and older models with a million miles on it. The honda acura specialist stated that the oil pan and rear main are 1/2 inch apart and it is easy to mistake one for the other. Huggins also stated that the rear main oil leak was due to the car sitting for long periods of time. Mine is an every day driver and my sit for 1 or 2 days at the most. My point is that they should have admitted that the oil pan gasket was incorrectly installed by not using honda glide (instead of silicone) or that the gasket has metal washers that may have been stuck on the gasket surface during removal. The service staff was friendly and all, but trying to gouge a customer is just plain wrong. I also know of another individual who had a problem with their CRV engine and huggins wanted to replace to whole engine. They took it to my specialist and got the valves adjusted for a measly $200. Anyway, I will not be taking my car there anymore and plan on telling other honda owners this story. More
Numerous routine service visits have been excellent. On one occasion I reported a rub through on my leather seat. Although the car was a month out of warranty.
