Friendly Employees. Slow response and lack of communication. I came in for an airbag inflater recall. Huggins contacted me. Came in dropped off my car on a Thursday at 3:30, told him I needed an oil change as we I came in for an airbag inflater recall. Huggins contacted me. Came in dropped off my car on a Thursday at 3:30, told him I needed an oil change as well. He also told me they would wash and vacuum out my car. Cool, half a day to a day was what I was told. Friday came and went. No big deal they are probably slow. Saturday. Try to call my service advisor and no answer. Oh it's cool, I don't need my car over the weekend. Sunday morning I finally received a call that my vehicle will be ready some time Monday. So one call 2 full days after I was promised my vehicle back. Also, they did not wash or vacuum the vehicle. The actual inflater seemed to be rushed. The plastic was raised where the airbag section of the dash and glovebox meet. It easily pushed back in. More

Never Again This will be the very last time I do business with this service department/dealership. Background: My wife and I purchased our 2017 CR-V from Hugg This will be the very last time I do business with this service department/dealership. Background: My wife and I purchased our 2017 CR-V from Huggins in March of 2017. In March of 2018, our battery died. Our vehicle was towed to the service department, and we were given a new battery under warranty. Our service advisor was not able to give us a valid reason as to why our battery died less than one year into owning the vehicle. May 30, 2019: Our battery was dying again, as we were unable to start the vehicle. I attempted to call Kimmie Hamilton (who we’ve worked with before when our radio display was having issues that required MULTIPLE trips to resolve) to make arrangements to have our vehicle diagnosed. Kimmie never returned my voicemail that I left for him. I managed to start the vehicle and bring it to the service department later that morning. I was assigned Tyler Warren as my service advisor. I explained to him the vehicle’s history with the battery dying. He then proceeded to insult my intelligence by giving me this excuse—the cells in the battery are going bad because of the fluctuating Texas weather we’ve had lately. I have lived in Texas my entire life, and I have never had to replace a battery twice in less than two years of ownership because of the “Texas weather.” Our CR-V is parked in a covered garage when my wife brings it to work. It’s parked in an underground garage when I bring to my workplace. It’s parked in a garage when we’re at home. None of the other vehicles I have owned in Texas have ever had battery issues because of the weather. After my CR-V was diagnosed and tested, Tyler acknowledged that the battery was indeed draining, but could not give me a valid reason other than because of the "weather.” He offered to replace the battery again under warranty as a quick “band-aid” fix. I kept my composure and chose not to argue with Tyler, as I had already made up my mind I no longer want to do business with Huggins Honda. My wife and I have also decided we are no longer going to keep our 2017 CR-V. Our warranty will expire before the end of this year, and I refuse to pay out of pocket for a new battery every year because the service techs/advisors are too lazy to find the underlying issue. I have always shopped Honda because of their reliability and quality of service. Sadly, I am finding out that Honda is not what it used to be. More
Maintenance Department Shady I brought my vehicle for a warranty work. They replaced an engine mount bding close to wearing out. I got my vehicle back the next day. I did a quick look over and found that they did not re attached an engine grounding wire, a safety issue, so ended wasting another day at the shop, a friend of mine took his truck in for an engine oil and filter change. After he looked at it he noticed the filter had the same grime and dirt on it, never been changed. Customers always look at what they worked on your vehicle and look for the obvious. Their maintenance department iis too shady. Its for your own saety More

Other Honda service companies are out there and are somewhat less expensive, but I know that I am getting First-Class customer service from Tim and that he will make sure my Accord gets the proper service and care it needs. I am also confident that I receive honest information regarding repairs and service that my Accord needs, which is extremely important to me. Huggins Honda is a first-class operation all around. More

Horrible, They did more damage than they fixed I took my CR-V in for the air bag recall. I was told it would take 4 hours It took 10 hours. I was called at home and they said they found a nail in my tire and did I want them to do fix it, I said yes please. Then I was told that my rack and pinion steering was leaking fluid and that it would only take $2,000.00 to fix it. I told them that I had to have a car for work on Monday so that would have to wait. So when I got up this morning the tire that they said they fixed was flat. I changed the tire and took it to NTB. They told me that the tire couldn't be repaired because of what Huggins had done. So I bought a new tire so I could go to work. I am trading the Honda CR-V in and will never buy or drive a Honda again or have anything to do with a Honda dealership. Aside from the not fixing my tire, I have no confidence in the recall work. If they can't fix a flat how could you expect them to fix two airbags. I am getting rid of this death trap before I find out how bad their work is like I found out for the tire More

Service Dept Engages In Rigging Your Car For Repairs I took my Honda Fit for an oil change at Huggins...NO LIGHTS ON NOTHING...Waited over 2 hours..Service Guy came back ready to go..then said oh wait..y I took my Honda Fit for an oil change at Huggins...NO LIGHTS ON NOTHING...Waited over 2 hours..Service Guy came back ready to go..then said oh wait..you have a Check Engine Light On..Let me take it back and check it..THEN came back..SAID you need Spark Plugs..do you want to get them now..I said NO..he cleared it and light went off..week later came back on..I called...waited for Service Guy to Call me back..NEVER DID..Called again..SAME THING..Two weeks later...light goes off..week later came back on ..car lost power...I parked it..Called a local shop that I know owner..took it in..Mechanic SHOWED me as he looked for the issue....Spark Plug was almost completely unscrewed out of the motor...LOL..Mechanic was in shock..HE SAID WHO has been working on your car BECAUSE A SPARK PLUG DOES NOT UNSCREW ITSELF IN A 2011 HONDA...LOL..COST ME $500 to get it fixed..HMMMMMM..WONDER HOW IT CAME OUT? LOL..HUGGINS SERVICE DEPT IS A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS...PLEASE DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR THERE..IF I HAD DRIVEN MY CAR JUST A LITTLE FURTHER..THE ENGINE WOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY DESTROYED..STILL PAYING FOR THE CAR...LOL..HUGGINS HONDA SERVICE IS PURE CRAP!
