Very bad experience, do no recommend I contacted this dealership when I saw a car i was interested in online. I made an appointment to test drive the car. When I arrived, the sales consul I contacted this dealership when I saw a car i was interested in online. I made an appointment to test drive the car. When I arrived, the sales consultant stated that the car I wanted to test drive had been sold. He showed me some other possible cars and drove my mother and I around the different lots to look at cars. I found a car that I was very interested in and ended up test driving it. I decided that I would like to purchase the car. The sales consultant then left my mother and I waiting at his desk for a quite some time, when he came back he stated that the title for the car was lost, and would take a couple of days to find it. He said he would contact me by Thursday (we were there on Monday), and we would be able to sign the paperwork and purchase the car. I also asked him to send the required paperwork to the credit union I was using for my loan. The sales consultant called me on Wednesday and asked that I come to the dealership. I asked him if he had talked to the credit union, and he assured me that he has been in contact with them and everything is figured out. I had my mother pick me up from Fenton (an hour drive from her house) and take me to the dealership (another hour drive), since I was convinced I would be driving away in my new car. When we arrived to the dealership the consultant had told me that I could not purchase the car that I was there for. The title was "lost" and would not be available for at least 60 days. When he noticed the disappointment on my face he left the desk, again for about 20 minutes. And when he came back he said he would be able to get the car to me by the next day. He was running me around in circles and at this point I was done, I no longer wanted to deal with this dealership or the sales consultant. As we were leaving he assured me he would call me tomorrow and the car was mine- never heard from him again after that, which is fine because I purchased a car from a different dealership. All in all I was very disappointed with the service. I would not recommend this dealership unless you want to get run around in circles and lied to. More

He was polite, excited, and answered every question I had without ever being pushy. Most importantly, he took the time to speak with my wife about the car, instead of just ignoring her (the way a lot of car dealers do with women). When I inevitably buy another vehicle, I'm going to Suburban, and I'm going to specifically ask for Reginald. More
Worst Experience EVER One of my worst car buying experiences to date. For someone who is only 27 year old and leases new cars every 2 years you think they would try to service me better so I return. First my vehicle was damaged, there was a tear in the dash pad, and no one noticed it, until I seen it when I was about to drive away. How did that pass quality inspection? Second, they did not fill up my car with gas when I left the dealership, and after I complained, they mailed me a check for my fill up. Next, 2 weeks after I purchased my car, my old leasing company never received payment from Nissan and was about to send me to collections! I had to contact the sales manager "kevin" several times in order to get the payments sent. Finally on the last day before I was to be sent to collections they finally sent the payment. The LAST DAY! Then, they forgot to have me sign some paperwork. How do you forget to have a customer sign paperwork? They drove to my work, and interrupted my day to have me sign them. Then they called me again and stated they forgot to add in my "free" oil changes to my contract, so once again they interrupted me at work and had me resign the entire contract. At this point, I thought, "This has to be the last problem". This morning I got to thinking I have had my car for about 5 weeks, I wonder why I haven't received any notices in the mail to make my payment. So I decided to call. When I called they informed me that my payment had been due on the 6th. Suburban Nissan hadn't sent my contract until the 5th of July, and Nissan Financial hadn't mailed me a statement until the 7th. Once again, Suburban transmitted my contract on the 5th, for my payment that was due the 6th, and sent me a statement on the 7th, which I still have not received. The women on the phone had the nerve to say that there was a 15 day grace period, and that technically my payment wasn't late yet. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? They give me my account number, so I proceed to the financial website, and it says it wont let me log in because my social security number is invalid. I call Nissan Financial again and they state that my social security number has been entered incorrectly, and it will take 2 days to fix. On top of everything else, my social security number has been entered incorrectly. When I emailed the manager "kevin" this morning my dissatisfaction with the situation his response was the standard "sorry for the inconvenience" that gets pulled out when minor things happen. If this is how they treat the standard customer and seriously ever consider me to come back to this cracker jack dealership, they have another thing coming. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN SUBURBAN NISSAN AS LONG AS I LIVE FOR CAR SHOPPING. If it wasn't for my free oil changes I wouldn't be coming back for service either because the experience has been that dreadful. This experience has made me lose my confidence in suburban group in general. How can all of this happen, and nothing be done. Just your typical "oh well, good luck.' apology email. A word of warning for all upcoming consumers RUN from this dealership and go to a different auto group that will actually care about the consumer. More

INCREDIBLE! I must give special thanks to Mr. Reginald Soares, along with Ms. Taylor Corbit (who kicked off this process via my online submission of interest) and I must give special thanks to Mr. Reginald Soares, along with Ms. Taylor Corbit (who kicked off this process via my online submission of interest) and everyone at Suburban Nissan and the entire Troy Motor Mall staff! This was my very first car purchase -- a beautiful, sharp and one-owner only 2015 Chevy Equinox -- and from the moment I came in and informed him that I wanted to purchase that very car, he rolled up his sleeves, went right to work, let me take a test drive and was thorough and completely honest with whatever questions I needed to be answered! If anyone needs a used car, Mr. Soares and the entire Suburban staff will be more than willing to help and aid you ... you'll be glad that you did! More
Dave Estep deserves a promotion, but I'd miss him I'm on my fourth Z. I love them like I love my own kids. I live to drive. I stalk NISMO and GTR's on the track. I joined a rally team. I can't wait to I'm on my fourth Z. I love them like I love my own kids. I live to drive. I stalk NISMO and GTR's on the track. I joined a rally team. I can't wait to alter my exhaust and boost the engine. I'd like to sport the Suburban logo around town on my car with a creative wrap. Z's are still a design work in process; they have issues from time to time. We Z people understand this and relish the opportunity to figure it out with our dealership service partners. I'm beyond fortunate. Dave gets it. He's direct, he's honest and he goes the extra mile. Not only does he follow up on parts and tire plugs religiously, but he fits in in the service day at the request of the client. This is so rare, I brag about to my "buy only American" friends who give me grief about buying an import in this Detroit suburb. The most experienced mechanic in this dealership has worked on all my cars. I wouldn't have it any other way. When I needed a new clutch (for $3500) on no notice and without warranty (still had 1000 miles left to go) available, I was not happy. We came to an agreement and Dave shepherded the transaction through and got me the service points I deserved. I would rather have split the cost with Nissan (the car had stayed outside in snow long before I bought it new and I think may have been predisposed to problems), but they didn't have control of that decision. I understoood and believed because unlike other service departments we all know exist in The Hall of Shame, this one is different. There is clearly a lot of turnover in staff, but Dave is a coolheaded professional with a sense of grace and humor under pressure. The staff respect him and it shows. Please formally commend Dave and the staff who always support me when my tire sensors overreact and I stop by for popcorn and a chat with Laith. I'm a consumer advocate and Chairman of a local municipal board. I deal with complaints from cable subscribers, arguably the worst customer service on earth, every week. I'd love the opportunity to work for the Suburban Collection in a Client Confidence Support Role. Don't have that fit yet...let's do it together! More

However I had to negotiate with the manager Kevin and I specifically stated that I have my own financing and therefore request that Nissan not run my credit. A week later I check my credit report and see that Kevin ran my credit anyway. Multiple hard credit checks harm your credit score but I guess this dealership couldn't care less. Wouldn't purchase here again because they don't honor your request. Thanks for dropping my credit score unnecessarily! I also had to wait 2 hours to sign the paper work even though there was only one other customer in the dealership. More

Heard TONS of noise and told us not to buy unless they cut the price by 3k bc thats how much it will cost to fix. The mechanic didnt even have to put it on the hoist! We took it back and they told us that they will have to relook.at it. I think the dealer will just put it back on the lot hoping for a sucker. More
