The dealership is cool. They tend to play the music too loudly while the tv is on. Also, my appointment took about 2 hrs which I don’t know if that is usual or because of lack of employees. Again, when I pull up in the service area no one is there to greet me like in previous times. Also, the reward system needs to be adjusted. My email and/or phone number should be enough to apply points, instead I still have to tell the cashier I am a rewards member. It’s the 21st Century there has to be a better way to obtain points than me having to tell the cashier every time. Also, if I use my points I can’t receive points for that service. So I had $3 to use but my service points was like 200 so it was an either or situation. Manny was cool. I’m use to Claudio but he’s no longer there but I’ll stick with Nanny he was just as awesome. The Torrance Nissan Dealership is a total class act. I worked with Manny on fixing my car. He was prompt, extremely helpful, a hard worker, and an outstanding employee. I inquired about an extended warranty package, and at the end when my car was ready, he offered me one. I couldn’t believe it, and the offer was great! At the end, he made sure I got to my car safely to leave, and he made sure that the car was washed in advance. I would highly recommend this dealership for anyone looking for nice, warm, gentle, and kind people to work with if you are planning to buy a Nissan. They try very hard. But the service level fluctuates depending on the day & who you are working with. For example, I was having issues with my brand new car. The service supervisor rode around with me so he could hear & experience what I was talking about. He was then able to resolve my issue which was great. On the other side, I ordered rugged floor mats from them & the price included an installation charge. Not only did no one install them, the service tech literally propped the box up on the counter, that was basically 6 ft tall & heavy & left. I’m 5’3. I had to drag & push it out of the building, to my car & then push the box over on the ground to open & unbox them. They were for a 3 row Pathfinder. I got one set in. The salesman who sold me my car happened to see me & he rushed over to help & insisted on finishing the install for me. He was great. Currently, the rear windshield wiper flew off on the 10 freeway on my way to work! I called & was told to bring it in. I did, only to be told that “ oh, we don’t actually have the part in stock. We have to order it.” They could’ve told me on the phone & saved me 90 minutes of drive time. They have good intentions, they just need to get themselves aligned on customer service & communication.
