I was undecided between the Nissan Altima vs. Hyundai Sonata, after working with Eric Cady and his professionalism, not to mention his knowledge I am pleased with my decision on the Altima. Nissan offer Sonata, after working with Eric Cady and his professionalism, not to mention his knowledge I am pleased with my decision on the Altima. Nissan offers a lifetime powertrain warranty and Hyundai offers 10yrs/100,000. I have always used my personal credit union for purchases but Bob Vespi, the finance director got me a better rate with Capital One saving me over $700 in interest charges. Shopping at Nissan of St. Augustine has been a great pleasure. I want to thank Eric Cady, Bob Vespi and their warm welcoming staff. I not only have a GREAT Altima that I love I have a new dealership for all my vehicle needs. Shopping at Nissan of St. Augustine has truly been a great experience. More
I began my search online in response to an email from Joe Zimmerman. I also communicated with Amanda Olthers. Amanda was very accommodating in finding a time for me to come in on Thursday. I did into meet Zimmerman. I also communicated with Amanda Olthers. Amanda was very accommodating in finding a time for me to come in on Thursday. I did into meet Joe until Friday. I worked with Steve Maag on Thursday doing all the footwork. He was very forthcoming with information. We had to go back and forth to come up with a price, and he was very professional. Since Steve was off on Friday, I completed the car sale with Eric Cady. He too was friendly and professional. He answered all my questions or got the information from others when necessary. Ace F., Sales Manager, was also very informative and professional. My only complaint involved the initial email from Joe Zimmerman. The email stated the the dealership could put me in a 2012 Nissan Versa Hatchback "for what I was paying for my 2009 Nissan Versa Hatchback". In order for that to happen, I had to put down a significant down payment ($2900). The statement "for what I was paying for my 2009" car is based on a formula of what the "average 2009 car payment" should be. I am a repeat customer. I bought my first Nissan in 1987 from Yarborough down on San Marco Avenue. This car is my 5th Nissan in 26 years. I believe in buying locally and will probably come back to this dealership. More

I was dissapointed with the answers I received on my return visit to Beck Nissan and so I went to Nissan of Saint Augustine. I met Aron Hunley there who ably walked me through the whole process. I told return visit to Beck Nissan and so I went to Nissan of Saint Augustine. I met Aron Hunley there who ably walked me through the whole process. I told him of the promises made and not realized at Beck and my frustration and he assured me he was ready to clear things up. I told him of what I wanted in a new Senta, and we immediately went to the lot and he looked high and low and found one with just what I wanted. We went inside and i was ready for the paper game and the Sales Manager game, But no nonsense is what I got. He jotted some numbers and then went in to see the sales manager. When he returned he had already cut the price to less than Beck, and got a rebate, and got me 36 month no financing. Then the sales manager came out and I figured it was high pressure time. Boy was I wrong. He only came out to meet and assure me this is a dealer that stands behind their promises. I told them I would have to talk with my wife first. I figured they wouldn't let me take the offer sheet or say this deal is only good for today, but instead gave me more information and let me leave with no pressure. My wife and I agreed this was the deal and dealership for us, so we went back the next day to make the purchase. There we met the Finance director Bob Vespi and he gave us more tips on saving money now and later than you could believe. He made some suggestions and never any pressure. We walked out with a new car and a new dealership for us. We couldn't be happier with the way we were treated at Nissan of St Augustine. More
Don t walk away from this dealership ..RUN...I purchased a used vehicle there they provided a carfax with stated that the vehicle was 11060.00 we came to agree on 11883.00 by the time all of pre delivery se a used vehicle there they provided a carfax with stated that the vehicle was 11060.00 we came to agree on 11883.00 by the time all of pre delivery service fee, electronic registration filing fee, tax, registration, 3rd party private tag agency fee, brought price to 13,900.00 In January the transmission was bucking and the check engine light came on. The dealership blew me off and said that I had to go to the dealership of the car model. I went to this dealership and they offered to let me trade my vehicle in...they pulled up the auto trader AND kelleys blue book amounts of 8500.00... I decided to trade in. When I went back to the dealership to get reimbursed for the warranties that I purchased (not included in the above amounts) the Financial Director was VERY rude. Their customer service ENDED. I should be the one who is upset, I got ripped off by at least 3000.00. wow, you would think that they, after running to the bank laughing with my negative equity, that they could at least be pleasant and help me. I also own a Nissan (not from this dealership) and will drive to Jacksonville to get my oil changes and maintenance. Save yourself a head ache...also when I went to trade in the vehicle, my new dealership told me that 3 months ago people were outside picketing Nissan of St Augustine...apparently they have a long history of HORRIBLE customer service and rip offs More
I spoke with N, who is the Internet Sales Representatie and explained what type of Nissan Frontier I wanted. She gave me a price, and I told her that Coggin Nissan of Jacksonville had offered a better pric and explained what type of Nissan Frontier I wanted. She gave me a price, and I told her that Coggin Nissan of Jacksonville had offered a better price, and she said would get with her sales manager and get back with me. She contacted me and matched their price, and said that the vechile included extra features along with the tow package. When I arrived, I met her and she passed me off to another sales person named C. He let me test drive the vechile and I noticed that their was not a tow package. C stated that the tow package would cost another $495. I agreed to the price and he turned everything over to the finance manager, B. It took B over 5 hours to get the paperwork ready. This is no lie. We arrived at 1:45 and did not not leave until 6:40. B was very rude and we almost left after 4 hours. But he appoligized and we agreed to stay. When we closed on the document, he gave us papers to sign and we read them. As were signing the documents, he told us that he got us a 4.49% interest rate and it included, 3 years of free oil changes and 60,000 mile extended warranty. But at the end of the signing, B stated that we need to sign the papers through the computer, so he could send them to Nissan. He stated that they were the same things that we had already signed just on the computer. There was no way to read these documents, just a small box for our signature. He printed these documents and placed them in the folder with the other documents. The next day I looked at all of the documents including the documents from the computer. The 3 years of free oil changes and the 60,000 mile extended warranty cost and extra $1,328.00. B put this on the computer contract and never told us about the price. I called B and told him that I wanted to cancel this and get a refund. He stated that I would need to come back in and resign everything again. I remined him that I live 2 1/2 hours away and I did not want to drive back and then wait another five hours for him to get the paper work ready. I told him that I would call Nissan and find out if there was a better way. I called Nissan, and they said that B could just fax the paper work to me and let me sign it and then fax it back. I called B and he faxed it to me and then I faxed back to him. I then called him and asked him did he get the fax, and he said who is this, I hd to give him my name again and remind him of the fact that I wanted to cancel the extended warranty. B then said, oh yea, I did get you fax. After several weeks, I did not get my refund, I filed a complaint with the Dlorida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle. The agent went to the dealership and made sure that this warranty was canceled. The website is www.flhsmv.gov. You can fax or mail the complaint. DO NOT buy from these people. This is the worst car buying experience that I have ever had. Buy from anyone but Saint Augustine Nissan. I usually do not put reviews online, but I want everyone to know about this place. I have also contacted Nissan and let them know as well. I would advise everyone to contact Nissan and let them know about the bad experience they have had with this place. Also file a complaint with the FLORIDA HIGHWAY SAFETY AND MOTOR VEHICLE. They handle all complaints about dealerships, including sales and service issues. Also, file a complain with the Better Business Bureau. More
I've encountered pricing and poor sales practices before, I've encountered pricing and poor sales practices before, but never to the flat out lying I experienced at St. Augustine Nissan. Went there to loo I've encountered pricing and poor sales practices before, but never to the flat out lying I experienced at St. Augustine Nissan. Went there to look at a 2011 Nissan Frontier. I wanted to see if trading in my 2010 Ford E-350 was the way to go. The trade in allowance was ridiculous at 12K. The van is in new condition. After turning that offer down I was asked if I would buy the Nissan right now at $2,000. and my van. I told them I don't do anything right now and wanted to take that info home to discuss it with my wife. After two days of trying to contact my sales person(Keith)by phone (in all fairness he was out for personal reasons) Nichole took my info and said she could help me. I gave her my counter offer of 2k, my van out the door. She informed she would call me back. She called back a couple times for more information about my van. I told her that was all taken care of by my sales rep a couple days ago. She hung up and called a short while later. She told me she talked to the manager and that seemed like a fair offer. She also asked me if I could bring the van in so they could check it again. I agreed and asked if I needed to bring my title and papers she said yes. I also explained to her I was busy and it was some distance to get there. I also explained to her I would be extremely upset if I got there and things were not as she said. She said that they wouldn't do that and they wanted my business. So when I arrived there I was informed that Nichole had to leave to let her dog out and this gentleman (Chris) would help me. Well to sum it all up Cris said that deal was no good and it would be $8,500 and my van out the door. Needless to say I pretty much lost it. I accused them of lying and wanted him to explain to me why they have to be so dishonest. It went back and forth for several minutes and I left. I wouldn't set one foot on that property again and I vowed to tell my story to anyone interested in buying a Nissan. Just for the record I'm a 66 yr old male and this isn't the first time I've purchased a vehicle or dealt with dishonest dealers. It's really sad that places like this are allowed to remain in business....... More
Brought my car in March to be serviced and had some questions regarding the vehicle. to be fair, i did not buy the car at this dealership. They did not have the vehicle I was looking for and their pric questions regarding the vehicle. to be fair, i did not buy the car at this dealership. They did not have the vehicle I was looking for and their prices were higher than other dealerships. I am writing this review now because of the "friendly follow up call on my cell I received 7 months later. The girl wanted to know why I wouldn't come back? Well, 1. The attitude of the sales manager and her employee on the Mon morning I had the appt. was horrible. 2. they could not answer ANY questions I had about my car. They were just plain stupid. I asked what the sensor was on the dash and neither her or the guy working with her knew. What? You don't know about the nissan Pathfinder and you service these cars? 3. I brought it in for a couple of issues, non of which I can remember right now and they couldn't handle any of them. Also asked the guy if the hard steering was normal and he didn't even test the steering wheel. 4. No one ever called me to let me know the deflector or the paint that I ordered came in. I actually was appalled at the bad attitude these people had. It is apparant that they are extremely unhappy at their place of employment and it reflects in their demeanor. I went from there to Coggin Nissan at the Avenues and I have never been happier. It's like a different world there. The dealership is much larger and the service department is awesome. They are definitely happier, they keep most parts on hand and they installed my bug deflector, gave me FREE touch up paint and even got the waterspots off my windows for practically nothing. i bought a Weathertech liner for the back of pathfinder and when it came in - he actually refunded me some money because they charged me too much initially. Just had an oil change there last week and they couldn't be nicer! AND... I didn't buy my car from them either! Don't go to St Augustine Nissan for service. More
Nissan of St. Augustine do anything to sell you a car, but once there's a problem with the car, they run you in circles and do not want to take care of the problem. We had to go to another Nissan dealer w but once there's a problem with the car, they run you in circles and do not want to take care of the problem. We had to go to another Nissan dealer which did fix the car by replacing a manufacture defect, when St. Augustine refused to even look for the problem on multiple occasions. If you're looking for a Nissan, I recommend going to Daytona or Universal in Orlando, whom are both very professional and seem to care for their customers. Beware, do not buy your vehicle in Lighthouse St. Augustine Nissan. Nissan also damaged part of the door panel interior. We were so disappointed that we did not even complain of the damage, we just wanted our car out of there. More
