I paid for the services and walked out to my car only to find that both of my license plates were MIA! I asked the guy that had just handed me the key where my plates were, thinking that perhaps someone removed them while performing the services. A few minutes later he returned with the service manager. We were asked if we drove in with plates on the car and I was seriously dumb founded…of course we did! Then we were told that since they weren’t doing any work on my car near either plate that there was no way that anyone there had removed them and that they must have been stolen off the lot and we’d have to go deal with it at the DMV. After experiencing the sheer frustration, a near heart attack (figuratively speaking) and dealing with the service department folks that at first didn’t appear overly helpful, I was angry and momentarily felt violated by the plate theft! I was completely disappointed in the lack of security and quick dismissal of fault. Then, just as we were about to get into a rental car that they ordered (since I couldn’t drive my car without plates!), someone from the front office came walking out with both plates. After a short discussion, it was determined that since there was an identical 350 Z that was headed to the “used” car lot that was also in for service, one of the mechanics had removed my plates, thinking it was the used car that was going up for sale. This ended up being a case of mistaken identity. Needless to say, OC Nissan Irvine was sincerely apologetic for their internal miscommunication. In fact, Denise, the service manager, was so empathetic with us regarding the immense amount of concern, emotional distress, and anxious anticipation that we felt, they bent over backwards to ease the anxiety. Ultimately, we all make mistakes and OC Nissan Irvine did an excellent job making it right with us and I will certainly be back to do business with them again. More
I went to Tustin Nissan and got the bait and switch sales tactic; called Connell and Irvine around noon on Thursday. Sam Klein (GM) answered, obtained information on the exact type of car I was looking for and called me back promptly with pricing info; in fact he called me several times as he was trying to locate the exact model I wanted. By 2:00PM he was ready for me to show up at the dealership to look at the car. As I was doing so, I got the first return call from Connell. By 3:30 I purchased my new red Z but Sam had to get it from a dealership in LA County. By 6 the car was on the lot and getting prepped for me to drive away that evening!! Sam and his staff was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. Plain speaking and no hard sell tactics. He went out of his way to get me the car I really really wanted and he got that car to his lot promptly. A great experience, which doesn't happen often when buying cars, and I LOVE MY NEW RED Z!!! Thanks Sam and staff!! More

I have been to OC nissan before researching Nissan cars for purchase but i had just got frustrated with the amount of time I had to spend until I can get to the point that I came to the dealer ship for. for purchase but i had just got frustrated with the amount of time I had to spend until I can get to the point that I came to the dealer ship for. It seemed that I needed to know a different language to be able to get information about cars! A friend of mine gave me the contact number for a good car salesman he knew ,for consultation. He happened to be working in OC Nissan!. so I went back there to meet him. He was Ken Yates .He showed me the options I had according to my needs. He was patient,understanding and he didn't try to push me towards any directions .It seemed that no other language was needed to connect with him. He was simple and sure of what he said. He had enough knowledge and experience and he didn't waste any time on blind marketing. I entered the dealership at about 5.PM that day and by the end of the working day I had purchased the car. He actually changed my impression of the dealership and I will suggest any friend who is looking for a car to go to him. More
My first time buying a new car, and the people were very friendly and helpful. I compared prices with other Nissan dealerships in the area and the OC Irvine dealership was able to give me the best offer wi friendly and helpful. Over the course of 30 years, my husband and I have purchased more cars than we can count. (In fact, we have owned mostly Nissans with a few Acuras, BMWs and Lexus in the mix.) That being said, our recent experience at OC Nissan in Irvine was exemplary. Our sales person, Larry Freligh was wonderful to work with during the transaction. Normally, we detest the usual car purchasing experience. Larry was professional, courteous and responsive without being pushy or patronizing. He took care of everything and made this experience actually enjoyable. We told him what we needed to make the deal and he made it happen - no games, no rounds of "talking to the manager", no haggling. (We had done our home work online, but never needed to use the information - unlike another dealer with another brand the day before.) Then, we moved on to the typically dreaded "finance guy". We were in for another pleasant surprise. Nathan was also very professional and pleasant - making the paperwork seem like a breeze. Both Nathan and Larry made us feel that they appreciated our business and were happy to take care of us - we would recommend them both without hesitation. Overall, this experience far exceeds my past interactions with some of the "European luxury brands". I hope Larry and Nathan are still at OC Nissan in three years when my lease expires and I'm ready for my next car! More
It was the longest two weeks of my car buying life. My lease was up and I had to find a car. In those two weeks I visited over ten dealerships. I stopped at OC Nissan Irvine, for the first time I did not feel pressured. They actually listened to me when I explained what I was looking for (the price range, the car and model, and my concern about my credit). The sales staff, financing department, and management were very professional, helpful, sincere and worked well together. Great customer service, something you don't see a lot of these days even in a customer service driven business. I can't say enough about the General Manager who sat me down for a considerable amount of time to make sure my needs were met and I received the best financing possible. I won't go into all the details, but it is fair to say he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I will refer all my friends to this dealership. I wish this was the first dealership I stopped at, it would of saved me a lot of time and energy. Thank you OC Nissan Irvine. Mark Barriere More
