As I was researching potential car dealers for a nissan frontier, I came across an internet only deal at Nissan of Clearwater, Florida. It was, what looked to me, as a great deal. A new Nissan Frontier S frontier, I came across an internet only deal at Nissan of Clearwater, Florida. It was, what looked to me, as a great deal. A new Nissan Frontier SV for $23,500! Discounts and incentives were $8000+. So, I called and made an appointment for a test drive. My fiancee and I did the test. We both liked it so I said "let's do it". We sat down with the agent and discussed the deal and it only included $2000 of discounts and incentives. What? Wait. What about the price indicated in your ad? The agent said that I don't qualify for the other $6000+ discounts. How was I supposed to know this before I made an appointment? There's no list of what the itemized discounts and incentives. This was a typical Bait and Switch situation and false advertising and I told him so without mincing words. After a fourth round of failed negotiations we just said to xxxx with it and we walked out. I realized that the agent still had the keys of the vehicle I was trading in; I went in back to get them. Then the agent said the manager decided to let the deal go as advertised. They caved. I'm now driving a new Nissan Frontier. The moral of the story: stick to your guns and insist on holding them to the advertised price. PS: Christopher, agent, was always straight forward and upfront with me. I think he realized that I could see through the xx. I'll give him 5 stars. I never dealt with Brandon. More

Seemed good nice friendly staff oil change took no more then an hour but they never suggested servicing the transmission at 59000 miles and a week later the transmission went out. So I called and it was due for a transmission service and the service manager tells me that having that done wouldn't have made any difference. Now I'm having to junk my 59200 mile Nissan Sentra. Thought I was set with reliable transportation. It's going to be very hard not having a car in July working on Westshore living in Dunedin. The time before they sent a video suggested tires and an alignment I took care of that as I can see tire tread never mentioned a transmission flush. I can't get to work now and waiting on a tow truck to give me a few hundred dollars sadly for a 59000 mile Nissan Sentra. My AAA was used for lock out service as I had grown accustomed to a proximity key. You'd think the service manager would have offered to tow it in but he stood his ground offering no accommodations or apology for skipping any other recommendations. I never received a video and was told it's a sealed unit the previous time that I didn't have to worry about it. Don't rely on Nissan service advisors read the owners manual a costly lesson for me. Never dreamed I'd reach this point in my life seeking employment without wheels. More
