They had the exact car we were looking for in the right color, so I reached out through their website and of course I was promptly contacted by a Juan Rodriguez. He was very polite and helpful over the phone, and even gave me a quote for the price of the car, as well as an estimated value on my trade-in. This was the 3rd or 4th dealership I had contacted to obtain a quote, and much to my surprise, they came in several thousand dollars below everyone else. He even quoted me a price that was a couple thousand BELOW what I told him I wanted to pay for the car. LOL. I should have known better... The dealership isn't really close to where I work or reside, so before I agreed to take the trip out and pay a deposit, I asked Juan "Are you sure your numbers are right?". He did confirm, said he was absolutely certain and that he was "able to give me a great deal". I asked him to confirm yet again and he did. Based on this, I decide to cut out of work early, cancel dinner with the family, and sit in tons of traffic to get there (their location is awful to get to during rush hour), and I'm presented with some type of offer/worksheet/invoice/breakdown document with a bottom line number that is exactly $9,000 more than we had discussed. $9k was the estimated value of my trade-in...hmmm. It turns out these people somehow applied the trade-in value TWICE when quoting me over the phone. Really? How does that happen? Simple arithmetic! Hypothetically, if someone didn't have the basic math skills required to perform such calculations...shouldn't he or she have a calculator?!?! I questioned this of course, and was basically told "Oh yea, sorry. We messed up." I said I was still willing to do business with them and that I would not even try to hold them to the initial quote I had received. Just make me an actual, reasonable, offer since what you've presented me with so far is now thousands MORE than what all of the other dealers were coming in at (by this point after having shopped around pretty extensively, I basically knew what the price point was for the vehicle). A sales manager came over, never adequately apologized, but reduced the price slightly. Still, they weren't even in the same ballpark as the other dealers, and when I told him this he basically said something to the effect that the other dealers were either lying to me, or were taking a huge loss on selling me the car. He said to take the deal that their competitor was offering. Fine. I told them that this was really bad business, and requested a refund of my deposit, and was told....You ready for this?.... The people who were capable of refunding credit card charges had left for the day, and they'll have to get to it tomorrow or when the person comes back. Funny how Juan was able to whack my card immediately for the deposit when I gave it over the phone, but that refunding the charge requires the work of some super-specialized credit card refund expert. Come on guys! I told them that this was not acceptable, and said that I would be reaching out to Chrysler's corporate office to provide them with some feedback with regard to what had happened. In response I was told verbatim, "good luck". Ha! Two words? Wow. Nice. Nice way to treat customers. I asked Juan the name of the sales manager I had spoken with and he refused to provide me the other man's name. That's fine. I suppose Juan can take responsibility all on his own if he wants. I mentioned that since I was unsatisfied with their intentions regarding the deposit refund, I would also likely open up a dispute with the card issuer. I received yet another response of "good luck". Two words again. Cool. Dude, I don't need luck. You know that, right? You took the card over the phone, and never even got my signature on anything. I spend many many thousands of dollars on that card yearly. Believe me, they are going to refund my deposit, hahah. Anyway, that's my story. 100% truth. No exaggerations, embellishments, or libel. I felt it needed to be shared with other unsuspecting consumers. At the end of the day it was a simple mistake on their part. I get that. Nobody's perfect, and people make mistakes. However, the way they handled themselves in response to this (rather significant) mistake was just pitiful. This will be the fourth Jeep I've bought in recent years, and won't ever consider this dealership again. My friends drive Jeeps too. Interesting how none of them had ever done business with or really even heard of this dealership. Can't say I'm surprised. For the sake of my friends time and money I'm going to make sure that they all do hear about Beyer - But that they don't waste their time and money doing business with them. Guys, there are plenty of Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealers around here. Unfortunately these guys aren't the only sub-par ones, but there are some good ones if you look around. Please just do your research and decide for yourself. If you elect to work with Juan and the crew at Beyer then by all means, that is your choice. All I can say is...GOOD LUCK! (get it?) More
Do not waste your time with Beyer We visited this dealership to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. Our experience could not have been worse and was a complete waste of our time. We saw a Jeep o We visited this dealership to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. Our experience could not have been worse and was a complete waste of our time. We saw a Jeep on their website and drove 35 minutes to see the car. When we arrived on the lot, we were ignored. We went inside to seek out a salesman. Our first salesman told us that we should not buy a Jeep because they are wildly overpriced and a waste of money. We told him that we would nevertheless like to see the car we located on the internet and drove here to see. He asked us if we could come back later because it look like it might rain. We started to leave and then happened to bump into the general manager of the dealership. We told him what happened and he asked us not to leave; he was going to get his "best salesman" to help us. The next guy came along and did get a Jeep for us to test drive. When we asked the softball question "why should we buy a Jeep" he responded "well, these cars really sell themselves." When we asked for pricing on the car that we originally drove there to see, he quoted us the sticker price. It was a used Jeep and he would not budge one dollar off the sticker. He told us it was a "one of a kind." Well, this weekend, we bought a new Jeep, from another dealer, fully loaded for $500 more than the quoted price for the "one of kind" used Jeep at Beyer. We will NEVER recommend this dealership and certainly will NEVER return for our own car buying needs. More
BEYER BEWARE! I cannot say enough about the poor service that we received when purchasing a pre-owned Lexus RX 350 from Beyer. From start to finish, Rick Mahnke, w I cannot say enough about the poor service that we received when purchasing a pre-owned Lexus RX 350 from Beyer. From start to finish, Rick Mahnke, was completely unresponsive when we tried to communicate issues that we had with the vehicle. When we first drove 3 hours to see the car even though we had an appointment to see the car, it was completely snow covered! After overlooking this issue and purchasing the car, we were not informed on the need for a MD inspection since we purchased vehicle in NJ. When the tags were nearing expiration and we contacted Beyer, it took another month for them to send off paperwork for us to receive our new tags! In addition, the MD inspection revealed that the rear brakes need repair. We've phoned and emailed Rick, but he does not respond. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

At first I purchased a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I was totally unhappy with, it was much too small and the gas mileage was horrible. I contacted my salesman Steve Amodei and asked if it was possible to return the vehicle and switch to a different vehicle. He went out of his way to make this possible and now I am driving a 2011 Dodge Durango and i couldn't be happier!! I highly recommend this dealership and Steve Amodei More
