Good experience, but definitely could've been better. We go back and forth on the recommendation with a strong MAYBE. Pleasant sales people. I guess we got the price we wanted to pay, per month, with little haggling; but the pricing wasn't clear to be honest between cost vs incentives vs money down until we sat down to do the paperwork. After a test drive, we did end up getting a hybrid even though that wasn't what we came in for, but the $7500 instant rebate on electric vehicles really sold us on it. There was some pressure; "This other family is looking at the 4xe, so whoever makes up their mind first..." We were there a LONG time though (Too long. 5 1/2 hours, they were short staffed) and there was nothing to eat or drink, other than vending machine junk. Had to buy bottled waters and almost door dashed food. You'd think buying a $60,000 car they could offer some bottled water but I digress. Anyway, typical dealers game though as far as the window etching, which by the time we saw the finance guy the windows were already etched (CLEARLY they did this while we sat there waiting, because they never cleaned the dust off the etch which wasn't there prior to them "detailing" the vehicle for us, so our suspicion was correct) so we were forced to pay $399 for that which we didn't appreciate and didn't want. There are also a lot of high priced fees that were added. License registration fee of $643 (seriously??), Acquisition fee of $895, Dealer Doc fee of $398, Window etching $399, Tire Tax was $7.50 (should've been $6.00), so they are really adding in a lot of fees here and there to boost profit even though they said "We don't play games with fees like a prep fee" (no but it's there, just hidden in a more official sounding tagline). By the time we got to this point we were so tired and hungry and just didn't want to walk out over a few hundred bucks after they ran our credit, but I guess that's how they get you. Vehicle sticker is $62,555 inflated on the lease to $65,205. Learn from our mistake. Go early in the AM, bring food/water, and ask everything well BEFORE you get to Tommy the finance manager. Also for the record, this goes for any dealership; please make sure demo cars and cars to purchase have both a full charge and full tank of gas. One 4xe had a miniscule % which ran out on our test drive, and the Overland had so little gas it wouldn't register. Our new hybrid came with a 0% charge on the battery and it was sitting right in the showroom so no excuse for that. More
This is by far the most pleasant experience that I have had leasing a new vehicle. The sales staff, finance staff, and management was superb. I love my new Dodge Ram 1500 Big Horn! I purchased a 2019 Jeep Cherokee (CPO) from Beyer on June 16, 2021, at a very fair price but in the financing process they charged my $450 for plates MV fees and processing. I questioned that and was assured 16, 2021, at a very fair price but in the financing process they charged my $450 for plates MV fees and processing. I questioned that and was assured by the finance manager that at least $200 or more would be refunded after the final processing was completed. I had arrived at dealership at 1 pm with a pre approved finance deal for that exact car from Capital One. Four hours later and after my credit monitoring app was blowing up with 6 credit apps they had reduced my interest rate from 2.65% to 2.49 (big deal) it was now 520 pm when I was rushed thru the paperwork. Bottom line is I was refunded $24 about a month later. I called to inquire why the fees were so high, got the run around and was assured someone would return my call to explain the charges in detail. No one ever did. Earlier a couple days after I purchased the car, I realized the window sticker and on line ad had listed a retractable cargo area cover, which had not been included. Again I had called and spoke with my salesman Eric Arnold, who assured me he’d get one for me. Just like my other call no one ever followed up or returned my call. I guess they figure this chump drove 65 miles to buy this car and they’d never hear from me again. Fortunately I found a local dealer near my home who is customer oriented and will provide me the proper Jeep warranty and regular service. More
I had the similar experience as another person here, not good. Went there in March, saw a Used Ram, which is what I was looking for ar various dealers. Sales Mgr, Rob, didn’t know too much, got the price qu good. Went there in March, saw a Used Ram, which is what I was looking for ar various dealers. Sales Mgr, Rob, didn’t know too much, got the price quote, that changed the next time I went. He promised to send me info by email, had all my info, never did. Never returned calls. We went back, saw a guy, Rolando, not much help either, no return calls. Guess they didn’t need the business. We went elsewhere, successfully. Now we live in Morristown, I checked on line re service, and with negative reviews, I will not use them. Btw, called to ask about scheduling a service appointment, no return c More
DO NOT RECOMMEND - WILL INCREASE PRICES WHILE YOU TRY TO BUY A VEHICLE I'm writing this after a very disappointing and frustrating experience attempting to purchase a truck. I called Beyer on the afte BUY A VEHICLE I'm writing this after a very disappointing and frustrating experience attempting to purchase a truck. I called Beyer on the afternoon of 4/15 to inquire about a truck that they had on their lot for a few months, stock # BD8085A. I spoke to a sales rep who was very personable and helpful. I explained that I live about 90 minutes away, and while I understand that they don't typically negotiate pricing over the phone that I was very interested in this truck, and that if we could strike a deal that I would like to leave a deposit and come pick up the truck on Saturday. At this point the truck was listed on their website for $33,197. I mentioned that I had seen the truck listed for $30,800 a few weeks prior and that if we could agree to a deal close to that price I would buy the truck. The rep said that he would need to inquire with management on the price history and that he would call me back. Later in the day I spoke to the rep again. He said that his manager was very busy, and that he would call me back in the morning. He called back in the morning, and I missed his call. When I called back shortly after he was gone for the day, and I was referred to another rep. The new rep advised that the truck was $37,777. I was quite surprised that the price had increased 14% overnight, but the rep could not help. After learning of the sudden price change I called Rob Zalusky (Used Sales Manager) at the number listed on Beyer's website. Apparently this forwards to Rob's cell phone. Someone should tell him because he called back and was surprised that I had his number. At any rate Rob could not help either. The price had changed overnight and it was what it was. He did suggest that if the truck did not fit my budget that Beyer did have other inventory available. I explained that it was not a matter of affording the truck and that my complaint was that I was not very pleased with what appeared to be shady and unprofessional advertising and sales tactics. Additionally the truck now cost more than better optioned trucks with less than 30,000 miles. I was very interested in the truck before the 14% overnight price adjustment. I asked Rob to have his manager contact me, and a short time later I received a call from Nick Lutz, one of the 2 Sales Managers. Nick was very personable, and despite my frustration as a disgruntled potential former customer he was very professional. I explained my disappointment and frustrations to Nick, and while he was very apologetic there was nothing he could do either. We talked briefly about the commodities supply impact on used car pricing, which is a bad excuse for a 14% price increase. It actually also appears to be old news; Chrysler announced that they were closing some plants over 3 weeks ago, and it looks they had already updated the price on 3/23 ($1640 increase) and then again on 3/31 to reflect that news. I find it extremely unprofessional and frustrating that while I was waiting for communication to facilitate a purchase the price of the truck increased by 14%. This truck was on their lot for over 3 months from $30,800 to $33,197 and while I'm waiting for a response the price increased 14%? This is extremely untimely, and quite frankly comes across as shady and unprofessional. Clearly the sudden demand for their used vehicles must not have been well communicated to their sales team either. While this was extremely frustrating I am glad that I did not waste time driving to the dealership for the price to increase while I was there, or test driving the truck. More
I just leased my 2nd car from them. A 2020 Durango r/t for my wife. The brand new vehicles transmission line blew out 6 days/90 miles after I got it. Absolute nightmare trying to get them to pick up the c for my wife. The brand new vehicles transmission line blew out 6 days/90 miles after I got it. Absolute nightmare trying to get them to pick up the car and bring it and get a loaner. Kept the car for 4 days then couldn’t get the car returned to me after guaranteeing delivery times of my vehicle. I had to go there to pick up the car after they said it was fixed. The car was absolutely filthy and reeked of transmission fluid, which was all over the truck. The whole thing was handled horribly and the sales manager Nick is a complete moron. Steve the service manager is another lying xxxxxxx. Stay away from this place. They couldn’t care less about you once they have your money. More
