I have been researching cars for about six months. I knew that I wanted a safe 4 WD with good gas mileage. I read reviews about the 2013 Ford Escape and went to Newins to look at it. We were greeted by Eric Stickney who was extremely informative and very nice. He took his time and clearly explained all of the models and options. It was late and raining that night so we said we would come back to drive it. We came back a few weeks later and Eric remembered our names. That was impressive. We drove the Escape and knew it was for us. We bought it that night. Eric spent the needed time with us to find everything we wanted in the car. We did all the paperwork and he let me know early the next morning that we were approved and that we would have the car within the week. Everything went smoothly and we picked the car up last Tuesday. Eric sat in the car with me and taught me how to work many of the options and helped me set up the Bluetooth stereo. Eric made this experience extremely positive. He is professional, down to earth, intuitive and just plain nice. We love the car and will be back. I was very happy with my experience here. I dealt with Joe Lucente and he was professional, friendly, helpful and listened to my concerns. I financed a 2013 Focus SE Hatch and was placing this against th Joe Lucente and he was professional, friendly, helpful and listened to my concerns. I financed a 2013 Focus SE Hatch and was placing this against the Mazda 3 Hatch in the running. In the end I decided to go with the Focus because Joe got me the deal I wanted. He started out high but worked with me and researched options and in the end came out exactly where I wanted to be financially. I did not feel pressured at any time which is a pleasure. In the end what he promised was where I wanted to be at for price and that's what was delivered. This is what made me close the deal right away. Mazda actually came back to me and matched the deal but a week too late, while the 3 was my first choice I became hooked on the Focus and Ford quality so turned them down. Everyone at the dealership was great. While signing paperwork to close the deal with my family, a salesman walked in I had never dealt with at all, and handed my two kids matchbox cars of the Ford Escape in NY Yankees colors which they loved. I thought that was a nice touch. My vehicle was prepped perfectly and Joe went over all the features with me. I drove away happy. If there was one thing to comment on its that Newin's prices are a bit high IMHO. I was looking also at the posted deals for purchase/lease on the Ford Escape for my wife, and they were way higher than what we settled on for her 2013 Honda CRV EX lease eventually. Since there was not much markup on a Focus and I have Xplan pricing I really didn't have too much haggle room to compare properly. I gave top score for price as I ended up where I wanted to be. You will be happy with your experience here. Do your homework, shop around but come to Newins last as you'll want to close the deal here! Also, make sure to inquire with them via internet first on your vehicle of choice. They have special internet pricing which is the lowest I've found, and that's how I came across them. More

Truck was not ready for pickup (Truck was on lot, not ordered) as promised by salesman and Warranty guy, had to come back. Best was after this, I asked if they could meet a price on a remote start from another Ford dealer, I was told they can't budge on the price. Then told me they must be using a substandard installer and it could void the warranty. Wrong, was told all Ford dealers use a place in Westbury. When I explained this all to the Sales manager he blamed the salesman, the salesman blamed the warranty guy, and the warranty guy could care less, great customer service. Very unprofessional to say the least. Had Hassett Ford install the remote in less than half a day with a follow up letter asking if I was totally satisfied with their service. I'm still waiting for my letter from Newins thanking me for my cash purchase of a 2013 Explorer. Difference in dealers was night and day. Newins was very prompt with one thing, they cashed all of my checks the very next day. More

Newins Ford is what a car dealership used to be and still should strive to be. I recently purchased 3 new vehicles all from Newins Ford. This review is about the dealership rather than the vehicle but I feel compelled to say that Ford is clearly on top of its game. This is especially true for trucks. The ability of the sales team to explain the infinite options and capabilities are critical and a reflection on their passion for the product they sell. My sales guy Joey Armetta loves ford vehicles and it shows. Joey spent nearly 8 hours with me and my son "spekking-out" his 2012 F-150 FX-4 "Dream Truck". It took such a long time because these trucks have almost infinite options and choices combined with Ford's information provided via the Internet and actual order system is very difficult to cross reference. When we bought an Edge for my Daughter the process was much simpler. The bottom line was that Joey was patient and thorough so we got exactly what we wanted. He had no problem checking other dealer inventories to match what we wanted or was willing to do the custom order. Upon delivery Joey spent as long as it took to explain the many advanced features and capabilities of the Ford vehicles. We were never rushed. Robert Emma is the finance warranty guy. He also was like Joey and asked questions and listened before pitching the products. There was no pressure to buy anything. This was a relief compared to past experiences in car dealerships. He also discounted fairly to the point where it made sense to buy some of the warranty product. Phil was the sales manager who had to jump in on negotiation as is common. No high pressure at all just an open and professional pricing negotiation that was fair. Overall I was treated great from the minute I entered the showroom. I got a fair price but maybe not the lowest however I also know I got the right vehicle exactly as I wanted it. This is why I bought 3 vehicles from Newins within one month. Keep in mind I never had to leverage the fact I was buying 3 vehicles to get this treatment. It was the dealer that brought me back in the door with their professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and friendly sales team. More
This service department is the worst. They make a lot of mistakes and they do not take responsibility. They installed the wrong tires on my truck!
