Overall the experience was ok. We were looking for a newer vehicle for my Son. We test drove many different vehicles at different dealerships. Overall the experience was a typical dealership experience. The business office used a digital desktop to sign forms electronically. The system seemed dated and at times was not responsive. Had to ask for copies of some of the paperwork and didn't get copiers of everything I signed. Tried to low ball me on my trade, claiming the steering rack was going out which we hadn't experienced any issues with before. The sales man, David Trigg was pleasant to work with and I could see working with him again. More

Trip to xxxx I was delayed by a slow service rep. Had to wait 3 days to get an appointment then the car waited in lot for half hour before going in for simple tir I was delayed by a slow service rep. Had to wait 3 days to get an appointment then the car waited in lot for half hour before going in for simple tire rotation. Took another half hour then the car sat in lot for a half hour before I went to the desk to ask what took so long. 1 and a half hours for simple tire rotation. Mr Creek never got up off his butt to find me and say car was ready. Then never provided a copy of the summary until I asked for it. Will not return for service again as the wait is horrible whether one comes on a good day or bad. More

The service is friendly, prompt, and professional. Keep that up, folks! Now for some improvement: Get a better webpage. I tried to schedule the maintenance for our two vehicles online and it didn't work. Trying to make two reservations seemed to have messed it up. The phone numbers on the webpage may be wrong, too. I had to dig for the number and make reservations by phone. So, it's time to review the webpage content and make sure things work, and work easily for your customers. Put your prices "out there': On a whiteboard in the service area is a matrix of how Newbold Toyota's service prices fare against local competitors. Most were higher but some were lower, too. That made me more confident that it was honest. Why isn't this, and all your costs, on the webpage? You can caveat it with "these are average prices," etc. Be prepared to change the prices (yours and others) as they go up or down. Be bold, Newbold! Doc Sligh More
Long time customer - very disappointed 2nd time with brake issue. Dealership warped rotors on brakes a few years ago during tire rotation and repaired the damage. Same issue this time. Brakes were OK, even according to your inspection, but after getting the vehicle back, we experience severe vibration and shimmy when braking. Dealership denied responsibility. Service manager solution was to take it to another dealer and he would accept their opinion. You're not taking responsibility and wanting me to take my time to resolve it. The nearest dealership is in Alton or St Louis. My time is more valuable than spending a day trying to prove something that I'm sure of. If I'm rightI, I still have to take the time for you to repair it. If they don't agree, I still have to take the time for someone to repair it. I would rather pay someone else. Service manager said he never heard of rotor damage from rotating tires. Talking to two experts in the business, it is very common, especially when all four are warped. I will limit future business with this dealership. Again, very disappointed. We have owned many Toyotas, but probably not in the future. On a positive note, Shawn was and always has been great to deal with. Steve Dever More

Needed to go in for regularly scheduled maintenance, Jim was very helpful in explaining the other items needing attention and I certainly did not feel Needed to go in for regularly scheduled maintenance, Jim was very helpful in explaining the other items needing attention and I certainly did not feel hustled. He was very patient in repeating and explaining what he recommended when my attentions were diverted to my active toddler. My husband manages the maintenance logs for our vehicles and had only mentioned particular things, so I had no idea what was needed and what was extra. Jim really was helpful in explaining the purpose for the items needing attention and was very upfront about cost and frequency of each item, felt confident he had our our personal interests at heart and not just looking to add items to our bill. We will certainly continue to return to Newbold Toyota for our vehicle's maintenance and care! More
