My husband and I were just looking when we met Rich. He is very professional, up front, honest and knowledgable. I have over 20yrs of sales experience and I have heard all the of the "sales pitches" and Ri is very professional, up front, honest and knowledgable. I have over 20yrs of sales experience and I have heard all the of the "sales pitches" and Rich never mentioned any of them. While I do hate car shopping, Rich made this experience quite pleasant. He also took care of a lot of the details that come up and that made the paperwork transition go smoothly and quickly. I was specifically looking to purchase a new or CPO BMW 5 series to replace my 2004 545i, which was working prefectly, but out of warranty at 131K. I had purchased two cars from Jim Andrews previously, and he lived up to and exceeded my expectations. There were no CPOs that met my wants, so I settled on a new 535i that was almost what I would have ordered. Through a combination of incentives, I saved about $4K off the price. I agreed to purchase on Saturday and picked up the car on Monday evening. It was excently prepared and ready on time. The financial part only took a few minutes and was well done. Jim gave a thorough overview of the car's features, and we were off. I spent about 45 minutes at home activating the sattelite radio and adjusting the settings to my preferences. The 535i doesn't have the immediate power and torque of the 545i, but it is more than adequate. I am already enjoying some of the features of the newer car (sat. radio, remote keyless entry, and much better gas mileage.) I am a happy camper so far. More
The car when I purchased it had a defective front passenger wheel.When I noticed the defect. I called Newbold and brought it to dealer for replacement. We have purchased several vehicles from Newbold BMW. Each experience has been wonderful. Sales staff is very attentive, and we have never felt pushed to make a buying decision. Dave and Blaine in the Each experience has been wonderful. Sales staff is very attentive, and we have never felt pushed to make a buying decision. Dave and Blaine in the Service Department are very personable and always provide a clear understanding of the work performed, what is needed, what is recommended, and what can wait. The loaner car (during service) is a nice bonus. More
I worked with Bob from 400 miles away on a CPO. Bob was knowledgeable and upfront about the car. He stated on several occasions that the car was nearly flawless. I was skeptical since I wouldn't see it unt knowledgeable and upfront about the car. He stated on several occasions that the car was nearly flawless. I was skeptical since I wouldn't see it until the day of purchase. He was right. It is incredible. Seven hundred miles so far without a problem. Pat Newbold was also great to work with. He called us back to the dealership because he had given us he wrong interest rate. It was a point too high. He had a signed sales agreement and he brought us back to save us almost $1000. I would definitely recommend. More
I would not recommend Newbold to anyone. They are the most unprofessional group of salesmen I have ever dealt with. I have made numerous attempts to get specific questions answered, with the response... most unprofessional group of salesmen I have ever dealt with. I have made numerous attempts to get specific questions answered, with the response..."I will call you right back." I finally have to call days later. I talked to two different salesmen at that dealership who gave me $3,000 difference in value of my own BMW within days of each other. I was told that the reason why is because I have "major transmission trouble". I then had THEIR service department inspect it to find out that there was nothing wrong with my car. I have had 3 different people call there in reference to a particular vehicle on their lot. Even gave the salesmen the stock number. All three times they were given inaccurate information about the car. When I talked to the manager about that particular situation, he said that we "talked to the wrong people." That is the response to all of my questions and concerns about my different experiences....."You are talking to the wrong people." What kind of answer is that? I finally talked to the owner. I now understand why the salesmen and manager are the way they are.....It all starts at the top!! More
